Tekken 7 Kaz

With Tekken 7 looming on the horizon and it being the fighting franchise's 20th anniversary, Bandai Namco has announced the first every real life King of Iron First Tournament. The competitive event will apparently determine the world's best Tekken 7 player, and the winner will receive a pretty substantial cash prize.

Qualifiers begin later this year, with big name players from around the globe gaining entry to the final tournament, which will, if all goes to plan, take place in November or December. Of course, the latest entry in the series hasn't actually released on PlayStation 4 yet, so wannabe competitors will have to get themselves to Japanese arcades, where the brawler has been available for some time now.

As for the grand prize, combatants will be looking at over $80,000 if they manage to emerge victorious. Are you tempted to enter? Begin honing your skills in the comments section below.
