Yeah, yeah – it's another PlayStation 4 remaster. If you haven't played God of War III before, though, it really does deserve your attention; the conclusion to Kratos' god slaughtering story really is the most violent so far. And that much is evident in this 1080p, 60 frames-per-second trailer, as we see Sony Santa Monica's bald-headed brute butchering the ugly overlord of the underworld, Hades.
The platform holder's opening pre-orders for the release this week, and promising a free dynamic theme for anyone who registers an interest. While it seems that you'll have to wait until launch day to download that in Europe, however, those of you that purchase the game from the PlayStation Network in North America will get the animated backdrop from 26th May, along with two free 90-day PlayStation Now trials for God of War I and II.
Remember, this PlayStation 3 re-release has been touched-up across the board – and also comes with a brand new Photo Mode, allowing you to capture some snazzy screenshots of Olympus gone wrong. Are you planning on returning to Ancient Greece? Swing the Blades of Chaos in the comments section below.

I forgot how this game is all looks and no gameplay! You can never get a decent combo going.
If they were asking like $25 for this, I'd be picking it up. At $40... meh. I can wait.
Really? I played Bayonetta 1 and 2 alongside God of War 1 and 2 at roughly the sametime last year.......while I don't think GoW's combat is quite as smooth as Bayonetta, it's no slouch either.......both are very enjoyable titles.
A bit disappointed that they are reverting to the inferior PSNow versions of GoW 1 and 2, instead of a higher up-resd port of the HD remakes, but ohh well.
If this is less than £20 I will get it anything more than that is a joke considering it is literally just an updated resolution/frame rate and a photo mode (which is becoming a common trend)
Will this have a physical release in North America or is it digital only? I desparately wanted to play Wolfenstein: Old Blood but no physical release in NA means I won't be playing it. I hope God of War III doesn't suffer the same fate.
I'm not one for re-mastered games but il be getting this, an that's my LAST remastered game I'm EVA getting.
