Available now and weighing in at approximately 217MB, the operating system overhaul promises additional software stability. Sony claims that it will help to “improve the usage of some applications”.

Just waiting for feedback on whether this is the mentioned fix for the messaging issues... Tweet from PsEurope a couple weeks ago replying to my message, saying it was being worked on!
@BeardedWonder I think messages is a PSN problem. They work fine for me in early hours UK time, but slow down in the evenings when people are out of work and America starts to get online.

Hopefully it fixes my shareplay feature. Idk what happened but no one can connect to me anymore, i connect to them fine, and my ps plus membership is good, so i have no idea what the issue is
Messages issue kind of a port forwarding issue. I don't know what is up with next gen consoles but you have to manually open ports in order to experience at least a more flawless messaging and even voice chatting system. That solved my problem when the system is idle. But it is still kinda slow when I am in a game. Hopefully this update should fix that as well. But like I said not with out port forwarding and dmz...
Velocity 2x crashed for the first time after i installed this...
iv noticed since the 2.0 update mmy ps4 no longer continues to downloadcontent like games in rest mode.i started downloading injustice yesterday and put the ps4 in rest mode and when i dwitched it bqck on couple hour later it hadnt downloaded a single kb while it was in rest mode.anyone else having thia issue?
