Christmas may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it also happens to be one of the slowest when it comes to video game news. All of the major events have already happened, and all of the major games have already released, which leaves us in the unenviable and peculiar position of not always having material to cover. And, even more disappointingly, means that we don't have anything to discuss with you lot.
It's nice, then, that From Software – the developer of upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne – is planning a neat little reveal in the coming days which should hopefully give us all something to talk about. Indeed, the storied studio stated on Twitter that it'll "have an update about new enemies on 18th December". We suspect that the new details will be unveiled on the PlayStation Blog, and you can expect a nice write up here as well.
In the meantime, take a gander at the new teaser screenshot below which accompanied the tweet. Are you still excited for Bloodborne, or is playing the waiting game killing your hype? Let us know in the comments section below.

Slightly off topic compared to the article itself, but when you guys are having a slow news day, as mentioned can happen quite a bit at this time of year, it would be cool to see more features / opinion polls etc that don't necessarily relate to current news. Case in point, that recent feature detailing the history of Sony & Nintendo was a really interesting read, and it would be great to see more features like that. Or could try something similar to a series that kotaku ran a couple years back where the author would rank the games in a series from best to worst (purely own opinion) and then invite discussion in the comments.
I know these sorts of things, particularly the game ranking/top 10 format etc have been done to death on gaming sites, but they could be a fun way to pass the time on slow days - nothing should be easier than getting to lavish some web space on explaining why your favourite games are amazing, and everyone gets something more meaty to debate!
You know it's a slow news day when the prospect of news to come is worth an article
But I think Steve Butler is on to something; more in- depth stories would be great. And December is tradionately also the "month of the list" with top 10s, 25s and 100s to fill the news-gaps. Furthermore I'd like some more video content, cause the one's you do put out are really nice!
