You can’t keep a good football game down for long. Despite being forced to sit out on the sidelines for the majority of the Christmas period, FIFA 13 has returned to the top of the UK sales charts. The soccer simulator knocked last week’s frontrunner Far Cry 3 into second position, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 remained in third.
Elsewhere, with no new titles released, the first chart of 2013 made for familiar reading. Hitman: Absolution sloped into fourth on the back of further retailer promotions, while Need for Speed: Most Wanted stayed parked in fifth. Just Dance 4 dropped into seventh, while none could pass LEGO Lord of the Rings in ninth.

Doesn't everyone in the UK already have a copy?
@Ginkgo Haha. Apparently not! Perhaps they're buying spares?
My friend bought Fifa 13 on Xbox and everybody's getting excited for tournaments etc. I only have a PC however, so I'm wondering, if I get Fifa 13 on PC, will I be able to accurately practice and learn the game and then transfer that knowledge? Or is there possibly some weird difference to cater for the PC audience, or perhaps some bad porting issues?
I'm certainly expecting this to be a no, but I just can't find any info on it.
For bonus points, would anybody recommend getting FIFA 12 PC for learning FIFA 13 Xbox? I'm not expecting to be a masterclass, my main goal is to learn the control schemes, but obviously the closest it can be to the Fifa 13 Xbox the better.
THanks!
