Land of the rising sun

You wouldn’t think there was a major video game convention about to start. Interest in the Tokyo Game Show is at an all time low – but we’re hopeful Sony can inject some enthusiasm during its pre-show press conference overnight. If you want to follow the action live, you’ll need to set your alarm clocks for 05:00AM BST. That’s 12:00AM EST unless we’ve made a horrible mathematical error. Assuming we’re actually able to wake up, we’ll be covering all the latest (and hopefully greatest) announcements from Sony's press conference as they break. We’re 99.9% certain the company's going to unveil the PlayStation 3 Super Slim at some point during the show – and we’re also hopeful it will share a little more about the recently announced Rain and Puppeteer. As for brand new software reveals, we’re sure there’ll be something. A couple of new Japanese-centric Vita games would be nice. And there's always a chance The Last Guardian might... Oh, who are we kidding?
