Sound Shapes Makes Sweet Music on 7th August

Queasy Games has announced the hotly anticipated Vita musical platformer Sound Shapes is set to release on 7th August in North America and 8th August in Europe. Oh, and the game’s also coming to PlayStation 3 too. Surprise.

You’ll be able to snap-up both versions of the inventive indie title for a single price of $14.99 or £9.99 depending on your region.

Similarly to other PS3/Vita tiles, the game will feature full cross-platform play. Whether you’re creating new stages or simply playing through the single-player campaign, you’ll be able to transfer your progress between devices. Even better, the community aspects of the title will be merged, allowing you to share your creations with friends regardless of which platforms they own.

The PS3 version of Sound Shapes will be on display during Sony’s press conference later tonight. In the meantime, check out this brand new trailer below.
