A couple of screenshots from the heavily rumoured Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have leaked online. The assets appear to confirm a near future setting for the hotly anticipated sequel.
The images — which first appeared on a Japanese website — focus on gun-toting aerial recon units, which also featured in leaked art assets posted by Kotaku last month.
Obviously we can’t verify the validity of the images just yet, but you won’t need to wait long to find out if they are legit. The next Call of Duty is set to get its big unveiling later today.
