Star Ocean: The Last Hope was one such example of that, going on to become the XBOX 360's best selling title in Japan. Now signs are pointing towards a Playstation 3 release.
According to online retailer GameFly, Star Ocean is to make an appearance on the Playstation 3 in the near future. It wouldn't be the first time GameFly had leaked an unannounced title.
