Review Wolfenstein: The New Order (PlayStation 4)
Back to the Führer
"Shooting, stabbing, strangling Nazis," is the response that long time Wolfenstein protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz gives when asked what he's been up to recently. Starting all the way back in the early nineties with Wolfenstein 3D, he’s definitely shown an enthusiasm for his craft, making it seem more of a pastime than a career. In...

News Wolfenstein: The New Order Star Says There's More on the Way
B.J.'s Back-owicz
Bad news for Adolf Hitler: it sounds like a Wolfenstein: The New Order sequel is in the works. It's hardly a surprise, as Machine Games knocked it out of the park with its previous entry and expansion The Old Blood, but it's nice to get a bit of confirmation – even if it doesn't come courtesy of an official source. Instead,...

Standalone DLC explores the past
This is a pleasant surprise isn't it? Wolfenstein: The New Order released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 last year, and was met with a positive response from both critics and players. If you enjoyed the rather refined first-person shooter, then you'll be delighted to know that there's a standalone DLC coming...

Time to 'Stein
Bad news, Nazis – B.J. Blazkowicz is coming for you. Bethesda may want to enjoy that, because we suspect that Watch Dogs will...

It’s a scorching week on the North American PlayStation Store, with more new releases than you can shake a stick at. PS4 Pre-Orders:
News Old School and New School Merge in This Surprising Wolfenstein Easter Egg
A blast from the past
There's no doubt that Wolfenstein: The New Order is heavily inspired by its 1992 predecessor Wolfenstein 3D, which pioneered the shooter genre much like the legendary DOOM. But with next-gen graphics, deeper yet classic gunplay mechanics, and an intricately designed world where Nazis rule with bizarre technology, this game...
Round Up Wolfenstein: The New Order Reviews Reich for the Stars
Back to the Führer
We may have been left to rot in a squalid prison camp while we wait for our opportunity to review Wolfenstein: The New Order, but at least we can round up the appraisals of others, right? Swedish developer MachineGames’ macabre debut has divided critics, who have peppered the web with bullets of both overbearing praise and...
News Not Even Sir Alex Ferguson Could Intimidate Wolfenstein: The New Order's Referee

We didn’t think that referees could get much more frightening than Pro Evolution Soccer 3 cover star Pierluigi Collina, but the official in this Wolfenstein: The New Order trailer gives the Italian stallion a real run for his money. In order to hammer home the idea of the upcoming PS4 and PS3 shooter’s alternate history universe, the...

That means that if you purchase the aforementioned title on...

Hands On Traversing the Trenches of PS4 Shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order
Führious
1981 saw the release of Castle Wolfenstein, a very early Commodore 64 top-down stealth action title that found you angrily taking down the entire Nazi war machine singlehandedly via a series of small, pixelated rooms. Now, some thirty years after the series’ inception, Swedish studio MachineGames is looking to continue the veteran...
First Impressions Brash Is Back in Wolfenstein: The New Order on PS4
Reich for the stars
Wolfenstein: The New Order is unashamedly old-school. The product of Swedish upstart Machine Games – a new outfit comprised of Starbreeze veterans – the revamp endeavours to ditch the conventions that have consumed the first-person genre over the course of the current generation, evangelising classic staples such as medkits,...

I am playing this game for the first time in 2024 on PS5. This is an excellent game considering it's 10 years old. The storyline is very good, the gameplay is great and I'm definitely looking forward to playing Wolfenstein 2.
