@BAMozzy: Sad thing is after seeing that IW trailer it made me want the game even less, while I will say it's a nice looking game that would be a game I would enjoy watching more. Now Modern Warfare remaster that's the one I really want, a shame I can't just buy that game, but I understand the reasoning.

@Tasuki: Of course each to their own - I liked the central hub that allowed mission selection rather than end chapter 1, go to chapter 2, reach checkpoint and move directly to next, if you pass go 'collect £200'... The flight deck (or whatever that's called) reminded me of Aliens with the giant mech walking along - paint it yellow and wait for Ripley to step out. The Jackal is supposedly customisable too but its take-off reminded me a bit of the old Battlestar Galactica. The dog fighting looked great fun. The Zero G combat with the grapple hook gave combat a unique and interesting twist. A few different perspectives, cover opportunities, flanking manoeuvres etc. Certainly something that only this setting can provide. I quite enjoyed the few different kills this led to as well- like sticking a grenade to someone and pushing them off into space to explode. All in all it looked a lot of fun and varied with more option to decide what to undertake next - instead of run here, kill this, run there, kill that - rinse and repeat. Yes I know there are stealth sections and vehicle combat but generally its quite on rails or very linear and 'flat' (for want of a better word) because of gravity. With no gravity, that can change the combat without changing the combat - its gone from 360 to spherical essentially. Objects floating give different perspective to attack or for cover. The story is more grounded in realism and plausibility too so looking forward to playing through it. At least we know its traditional ballistic weaponry and the MP movement should be familiar after BO3 - something that should help newcomers to Titanfall 2.

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

My tastes are normally a bit different from a lot of Pushsquare gamers, but I can definitely say Playstation killed it with their E3 Conference. A number of games caught my eye, and those include Spiderman, Detroit: Become Human, and Days Gone. Steep isn't an exclusive, but it looks really fun and interesting as well.

I probably won't be able to afford a VR, but it's going to be tough to pass with games like Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and Arkham VR coming. Both of those sound really good, and Resident Evil 7 also looks interesting. I'm going to have to find some way to get some money for a VR or at least a handful of upcoming Playstation games! Haha

Call of Duty: Captain McGrappling Space Shooty looked quite good - will they be able to tell a coherent story though?!

My top games:

10. Forza Horizon 3 (Microsoft)
9. Fe (EA)
8. Crash remakes (Sony)
7. Gears of War 4 (Microsoft)
6. Titanfall 2 (EA)
5. God of War (Sony)
4. Horizon: Zero Dawn (Sony)
3. CupHead (Microsoft)
2. the Last Guardian (Sony)
1. Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo)

Personally, I'd say Sony had best overall showing of the event, while Nintendo had best individual game. As for the list, I only saw what was in the conferences themselves, and not individually released trailers (outside of Nintendo Treehouse, of which I've only watched the first hour so far).

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
