@themightyant The new item from BP (Tears of Dreams) is pretty handy for getting mats you need without wasting TBP but I guess it's just replacing allowing you to choose specific mats like before.
At the mo I'm farming Suppressing Edict as that will be for Dr Ratio's Ascension mats. Those mats seem the be the most annoying for me to obtain so best to get them out of the way early.
@z0d15g0d Argenti is the best for Pure Fiction, with Himeko second I believe, I was talking more about characters who weren't highly rated before (Like Himeko and Herta) shining in Pure Fiction.
I like the new tears of dreams, much better than having to choose there and then which to have. I particularly like using it for the lower level traces and light cones without having to go and farm a domain again. More flexible to stockpile for new characters / light cones too.
@themightyant - I've only maxed Jingliu to 10/10/10 with all minor traces except top tree, I want that fixed 50% CR before I buy those. Still farming those CR sub stat boots for her. I have most minor traces for anyone I use often though.
@z0d15g0d - I've had a similar hit rate on HSR to my Genshin account but I've had insanely good 50/50 luck. So far I've pulled on the Jingliu, Seele, Topaz, Argenti and Blade banners without a single loss. Madness!
I know it won't last so I'm just on a saving spree now. I'm low spend (BP and daily jades thing) so I'll be skipping every banner for the next few months at least. I'm really happy with my account as it is. Whenever I do pull next I'm making certain I have the jades to cover the inevitable loss!
@Shigurui Talking of luck I just got 2 back to back 5-stars in Genshin within my first 20 wishes. Granted one was C1 Tighnari who I didn't want/need, the other was guaranteed Raiden C1. To be honest I wasn't trying to get ANY 5-stars, I was only trying to snipe Chevreuse who ended up taking 70 wishes to get.
Debating whether to try my luck for C2 Raiden now. (75 wishes is around 40-50 wishes away and I had saved up 200 wishes) I was really saving for C1 Neuvillette as he really needs that shield to enable more teams including Furina!
My account is at the point where I don't really need new 5-star characters often, i'd rather make the best characters I do have and actually USE stronger. But I do try and get every 4-star.
I finally used up 15 of my saved Fuel and all my Trailblazer power last night farming Simulated Universe and Caverns. I was trying to farm Rutilant Arena and Genius of Brilliant Stars for Seele... didn't get ONE useful piece for her. Perhaps a Fire piece that would be good for Himeko... that is about it.
God I hate relic/artifact faming RNG.
I've got 30 more fuel, but am half considering maybe saving it for 2.0 in a month when there will almost certainly be new sets available anyway.
@Shigurui Damn that's some amazing luck. All My most recent 50/50 have screwed me over Yanqing E3, Himeko E3, Welt banner S2 (I don't have Welt). The only good one is my Clara being E2 not losing mark of counter and the +30% DMG on Ult makes a huge difference. What's the classification for erudition? as Clara seems to fit the bill but is destruction.
@themightyant - Nice, I would love 1 copy of Raiden but I barely touch Genshin these days. Fontaine completely killed the game for me. I detest swimming/underwater levels in any game. My heavily invested account is now dying on the vine thanks to that place. Complete 180 here though, there's a vast underwater world in Tower of Fantasy that I dislike but tolerate though I think its because you have a vehicle that just pulls you from place to place. Regardless, Genshin is dead to me because of Fontaine.
@themightyant Lol I was doing the same for Seele last night also. I keep checking out the companions for farming and saw a Seele on there with 78% CR and 220%CD Seele was E0 and LC S1. I'm guessing that's god roll relics. I managed to get a good Rutilant Sphere so now I'm on 77%CR 153%CD gonna farm the rest of her relics again so I can use CD body instead of CR.

Completely agree that people's stats I have seen for farming are RIDICULOUS, it's hard to know what is a reasonable level.
I was going to suggest maybe we each share our Seele (or your most built DPS Shigurui) stats/build to see where we all are. The only problem with this is I think you are about 8 months ahead of me and about 6-7 ahead of @Shigurui. Would you two be interested in doing that?
@z0d15g0d - Why relic farm for Seele? 77/153 is a damn near perfect 1:2 ratio. Even though I have her I'm honestly unfamiliar with her kit. That looks like a stopping point to me.
@z0d15g0d - Fair enough but isn't that the norm? I'm guessing 99% of Seele's can't one tap elites. I mean definitely improve her where you can if need be. You do you mate.
Okay heres my Seele. Bear in mind I’ve only been playing about 7 weeks and haven’t started farming for relics properly, most are a 4-star scratch set. Plenty of room for improvement.

@Shigurui I'm trying to get my main DPS' to the same level as other players who's builds look like f2p also. The time and cost of mats is too much to be thinking about so I'd like to remove characters from that list while I can. I'll probably be playing this for years (if it's still going strong) so knowing I never need to further improve a character will keep that (voice) silent lol. Knowing Hoyo they will probably release better relics/ornaments down the line.
@themightyant Those are some decent Seele stats. Will you be changing over to Rutilant arena when you get your CR stats closer to 70% as you can use supports to supplement the difference. Sometimes I think space sealing was better for her. Speed at 199 with Asta? I think I need to focus on my Asta a bit more. Stopped using her once I got to JarilloVI and replaced her with Natasha. Looks like I've been missing out.
@z0d15g0d stats are pretty average for a late game players but I think they are ok for where I am, especially as a team in the field.
Yes I’ll move to Rutilant IF I can farm a decent set, she’s massively ATK buff heavy at the moment. (+ Ruan Mei or Bronya would help somewhat) I have 4 self modelling resin too, but I’m saving that till AFTER I have spent all my fuel to farm relics to get any major pieces I’m missing. (Still doesn’t guarantee substats)
I realised I can actually get up to 222 speed but only briefly for 1 turn every 3… or 4 with poor rotations.
Asta boosts speed of all team by 46 (at Trace Lv 8, 50 at Lv 10) for 2 turns with her ultimate. She can also boost ATK by 70% with her skill. She’s great in a lot of ways, but ATK boost is diminishing returns as you get it from so many sources, and the more you get the less it counts relatively. Which is why things Crit DMG and Element DMG are often more valuable buffs for your DPS.
Tingyun also gives 20% speed boost for 1 turn after using skill and then Seele using her Ultimate.
Seele also gets a 25% speed boost for 2 turns when she uses her skill.
So 115 base speed + 45% + flat 46 (Asta) + flat 9 (relic substats) = 222
What this means in reality is if I can get all the buffs up against weaker fodder (like farming) Seele gets about 4-6+ goes in row including her Resurgence talent (free turn when you kill an enemy) between skill and Ultimates. It can be more against waves of enemies. This is why even though she is a firmly a single target DPS she is included in some AoE tier lists. But it all falls apart if you can’t one bang enemies when fully buffed.
