Topic: Great Racer?

I've no doubt most people remember Motorstorm. Not everyone seems to remember Blur, which was awesome. These were two of my favourite racers from the PS3 & I miss a pick up & play, fun racer.

Dirt on the PS4 came & went from my collection. I've still got Driveclub & NFS:Rivals, which are OK but, you can't play them split screen in your living room with a mate.

Can anyone please recommend a racer I can play split screen or just a driving game that doesn't take itself too seriously please?

I'm really looking for something fun.

Driveclub (and DC bikes) and Dirt are the only two racers I'd recommend, so probably doesn't help much! Project Cars looks good but don't think that's what you're after, either. Wipeout is on the horizon

Ooh is it? I loved Wipeout for the soundtrack.

If you like top down racers Mantis Burn Racing has Split screen and if you have a PS4 Pro, it runs at 4k/60 but drops down 30fps if 4 of you are racing but each screen is a full 1080p then too....

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

Yes, I have got a Pro .

Just watched videos on Project Cars, Obliteracers & Mantis Burn.

Bought Project straight away off the Playstore as GOTY was only £15.99 & now kicking myself because Mantis Burn looks fun.

I'll give Project a whirl for a few days & then invest in the other two at the weekend probably.

Cheers for those recommendations chaps.

Nope sorry, I've got to have Mantis Burn NOW!

That looks exactly like what I was looking for. Fun.
