Topic: Renewal before original renewal date

Hi there!

I have a PS+ subscription that should end on 12 Jan 2021, and I saw the PS+ was having a discount on the 12 months subsription. So I bought a new subsription since I know the new 12 months will stack on top of whatever is left of my current subscription and paid the amount, but when I received the email receipt, it still says I must renew on 12 Jan 2021! And it says the same on my account.

Is that normal? Or shouldn't it reflect the new year/12 months I purchased right away? Any help or tips are appreciated.

@Aleskandar I recently did the same as you, and my PS4 still sent me notifications on the original renewal date saying I needed to renew, when I'd done so weeks beforehand.

Give it a couple days to figure itself out. There are dozens of minor glitches like this going on right now.

I have the same problem. I bought 2 years worth about a week ago and on the console I still see my original expiry date which is August this year. When I log into the actual site I see 2 separate dates. The old date and a 2nd expiry date in June 2022 for the extensions i just bought It makes no sense. It should have just extended the original date tp to Aug 2022.
