Topic: Ps4 shell compability

Hello! I'm trying to replace old shell of my PS4 Cuh-1004 with a new one, and i'm not sure at one point. Will the shell from 12xx and 11xx version fit to my version and work fine? Would be appreciated for any answers, thanks

Would've thought so - the case dimensions didn't change in the original PS4s apart from the removal of the glossy bit on the top which got replaced with a matt panel.

So long as you don't order a Slim or Pro case, I'd suspect you'd be OK - unless Sony have been cunning and changed the position of the screw holes in the later models?

@sanderson72 About screws i don't know, but im surely know that in model 12xx Sony changed power-bottom mechanism from sensor to physical. And that the most important point for me, cuz i saw many white shells for 12xx but i have 10xx and don't know will the bottom work or not

Hmmm, good point, forgot about the buttons. Might be better searching for something like a broken down PS4 Cuh-1004 - must be some on eBay or Cash Converters?
