Like i said on PureXbox. They need to sell loads of copies to not bring it on PS5. That means not only Steam sales, the Xbox sales have to be huge to recoup costs. Which is the weakest point on the brand, they cant sell enough on their own platform to recoup costs they need Steam and PS5 to get that back.
I know im on the wrong site for this, but i remember an video where people were saying Indiana Jones or Avowed were not doing wel because not alot of steam users were playing the game. But those games were on game pass, so ofcourse you dont get an accurate active user count.
The best Xbox can do, and im playing most of my games on Xbox BTW. They should do timed exclusives, release just like Indy first on Xbox and after 6/12 months on other platforms. People that are really excited to play it first hands on will buy in on the Xbox platform.

Here in the Netherlands we already paying 80 euros for a new game. Which is around 90 dollars US.
Gaming is becoming a expensive hobby sadly.

I do get the feeling that the PS5 Pro wont sell well with al the price increases, and the very very long support of games still coming out on PS4/PS5.
Current generation haven’t felt like a “new” generation at this point.
