I might just might go back to PC gaming and just have a Switch for handheld stuff.

Some of those games are not RPG. Souls games are action adventure. Elden ring is a stretch too because there is not much story again action adventure.

Horizon maybe a rpg there is allot of story.

@zupertramp Not really then if you use that example then when they brought out the Switch lite they lowered the price. You can also get the Original Switch for the same price. Oled Displays are more expensive so it make sense in this case. Sony made no changed other than some small revisions to make it cheaper to manufacture. Sony didnt raise the price and give people a better system. Problem is who ever is making the decisions at Sony right now is not very smart. Release a model that at least is a LE or a bundle or more storage do not just raise prices on the exact same model.

@Ristar24 Yea I play my switch way more still. Mainly because it is portable and more varied games. Just finished the Xenoblade Chronical definitive and what a great game. Right now I am playing Horizon Forbidden West and honestly this gen not much of a upgrade from Zero dawn graphically. This gen is so mediocre of a upgrade compared to previous. I am more excited about the next switch than my Xbox, PS or PC. Hope Nintendo does not do something crazy and stick with this formula of the switch..

Supply restraints are ending and Nvidia the other day said inventories are climbing almost sounded like a glut and pricing are coming down so why now when there has been inflation all this time. why when it seems inflation is ending. Yea I know Nvidia chips are not in the PS5 but made in the same Fab. Companies typically loose money on hardware and make it up on games. The long term damage with more bad PR it was a stupid mistake. Especially in Europe where they are in a major gas problem and maybe heating in the winter. Actually make me want to sell my PS5 since I already have two other systems and a PC.

This is bogus. NVidia just said there is a glut of chips and prices are coming way down now crypto has crashed. Yes I know they do not make the PS5 chips but he chips are made in the same place.. All this time and all this inflation and now it is cooling so why now? Inflation is dropping other than gasoline which here in the US had also dropped not so other places. Somebody had said to Sony make the money instead of the scalpers. It is nothing more than a money grab. I think part of inflation is companies intentionally causing shortages to raise price. We are in the got to have generation and they will pay whatever.

@KilloWertz Agreed and Microsoft will capitalize one this. The Xbox S is giving and game pass because of the pricing is giving MS massive inroads into the gaming market.
Consoles have been sold at a loss and made up on software. For Sony it is one PR nightmare after another. They should learn from NVidia who is hated because they turned their back on the gaming market for crypto and now crypto is dying and few want their cards. I mean the gaming market built NVdia to what they are. They also hurt the PC gaming market. Fortunately for both gamers seem to have short memories. Sony has really been showing their greed and Ego lately. . Not to mention so far this gen is not much of a leap. What Sony does not get either is they sell TV and other things and this will bleed through. Doing this especially in Europe is so wrong right now when they face a crisis pure greed.

Stock is part of it but it is more than just that. I own multiple consoles but didn't buy a xbox one but I do have the new Xbox. MS is just doing better this round and Sony makes mistake after mistake. Greedy price increases, not matching gamepass, Grand Turismo, Stock shortages etc. Nothing but bad press all year, even with Horizon their was mistakes. Management is hurting them plus greed and their constantly being bull headed and inflexible. Sony needs a change and what really is still holding them up is the fact Microsoft really has a major dry spell in games but in the long rung Ms may give them some competition in first party games. Sony needs to stop acting like they can do what ever they want because they are the big dog and listen to the gamers because with out gamers their is no Playstation. Do not make the same mistakes Microsoft made last gen and not listen to the gamer.

I think Sony is just getting greedy and it is going to burn themselves with this half *** stuff.
PS5 no adaptive sync (free sync is well free), no Bluetooth audio (which even the switch has) this stuff should have been launch.

The whole 69.99 games.

Sony is going to tick player off with money grabs. Tides can change fast in gaming industry.

These companies can sit here and push gamers around with some garbage like Roxio did with GTA trilogy.

I have no issues with companies wanting to make more money that is what they do but not to the point of ticking off the community. I also get not everyone is going to be happy. It is just starting to feel like Sony does not care about the gamer anymore and about Nickle and diming us to death.. Just remember without gamers there are no sales.

Problem there are not many recent a+ titles on gamepass either. Gamepass is loaded with B games and older games. If you like those games gamepass is great but a+ games that are recent there is not many but that said MS has a real dry spell. I really liked gamepass for a few months but no I do not touch it. I have D/L a few games when they get new ones just to delete most shortly after.

@sword_9mm It really depends on what you enjoy. . In theory it is great but MS has a long way to go. If you like playing older games it is fantastic. I loved it at first because I was new to it but now after having it there is not much for me. It is mostly older games and shovelware. There are a few hidden gems like It Takes two which I would have never bought but because I could try it out I did and loved it. It really has a long way to go to have more great new titles. Since I have owned almost all the Xbox's I have played most of the older games. Yea it is nice to go back and play some like NBA Jam and SSX. I also own all systems right now so most of the multiplatform I have played. I find myself not using it much. i just think if you have had it for any amount of time you can play through pretty much everything you want and then what.

That is exactly right Sony and MS have a cloud agreement so MS would know may know something. Sony probably was going to announce something by now and just may be late.

Vice city by far, just the music alone. The setting, the city, the time period, the clothes. Everything. Reminded me of Scar face.

I do not think it is the case at all. One is multiplatform and one is not. So fanboys will will bash Horizons from one side and praise it on the other. One game is multiplatform so it gets more hype from both sides.

Real gamer's play games not systems. I am tired all all these youtubers, game sites etc. trying to pit gamers against each other just for views. Some people are just trying to justify their purchase, who cares what someone else purchased. Some people just unhappy people and have to try to make others feel the same. Just game and be happy.

When are they going to give us freesync, 1440p and allow sound over wireless/bluetooth. Even the switch can connect to my bluetooth speaker.
