I played Returnal and thought it was good, but kind of done with Souls/Roguelike games where there's crushing difficulty and a lot of replaying even if the replay is procedually generated and they tried to make this more accessable than Returnal.
May try it when there's a game lull and it's lower priced.
Very excited to play these on my PS5, but also glad the developer is taking their time to release a better functioning game both optimized and also gameplay and UI updated to work well on consoles. So many of their recent updates lately have been UI quality improvements than not only update the base PC and Mac games but also improve the experience for consoles using a controller. So glad they are using one engine for all versions than porting to a limited console version, then updates and DLC can be rolled out for each.
It's a Bethesda game and I haven't had a platform to play it on so far so I'm in, but probably going to wait a for a few months, while being immersed in Crimson Desert now and the new Diablo expansion soon.
Maybe if GTA 6 gets pushed back again a bit I'll get more time on it. LOL
Also, as a big fan of an equally loathed space action game, Star Wars Outlaws, maybe play it for yourself and see if you like it, I had alot of fun playing SWO, while the usual online sheep tore it to pieces and missed out on the fun.
@Jeaz Kind of like the chases that way, more of a challenge, had a bank robbery suspect evading arrest and I eventually shoved the van into the lake, only one guy came out and opened fire on me before I could arrest him. Pretty deep for a pretty simple game.
IMO this could really help developers. AI like anything is GIGO, garbage in, garbage out. If it's half assed, gamers get bad interactions, but if it's using crafted interactions and good writing as it's knowledge base, gamers could get rich interactions with less overhead and scripting by developers and writers.

Was going to buy a lower level PC just for this game. Playing this on PS5 seems like an impossible dream come true.
