"Could you tell?" yes, feedback from the community was VERY vocal from the beginning in its discontent.
The thing is they tried to just force their way into the market with a completely new IP.
All everyone wanted ANTHEM to be was either an Iron Man game, a Titanfall Game or in an ideal world a Mass Effect spin off..
They wasted the goodwill and fanbase they had from Mass Effect with a bland generic new IP that had nothing going for it beyond some mech suits and some nice jungle environments..

Re: Site News: Where's Our Marathon PS5 Review?
@Ambassador_Kong 100% this...
Buyers will be paying today for what they'll be playing today!
if they weren't being charged UNTIL the game had evolved that would be fair enough to only review it when it had evolved..
but we're instead being told to purchase an alpha and trust that it'll be the game it should be in a month...
but we need to know the state of the game at launch and an EVOLVING REVIEW would have worked so much better..
This reeks of maximising sales, and minimising bad press with the promise of a game that MIGHT get a higher rating later...
Shame on push square for not being independent enough or strong enough to be honest..
Re: Prince of Persia Remake and 5 Other Games Cancelled by Ubisoft
We need to maximise profits at any cost, regardless of what the customer actually wants..
Oh and quality, we need to focus on quality... And profits, but mostly profits...
