You mentioned that it was a difficult game, how would you say it compares to Silent Hill 2 Remake in that respect?
My partner had a great time with SH2R, but dropped Cronos quickly due to the difficultly, so trying to gauge expectations ahead of what she's wanting to play on Halloween this year!
If GTA 6 were a complete single player experience, with no other dlc or monetization, I might be tempted to buy into the argument that it has cost a ton of money to make so the cost of the game needs to be raised substantially.
But it's no secret how Rockstar makes their money now. GTA 6 will make money hand over fist from the online portion which will have been the primary focus of their development.
Might as well make it free to play at this point as a result, really increase that userbase to sell shark cards day 1. Or if you somehow want to make it sell more than GTA V, sell it for a lower price than the average game at launch. Raising the cost of the game is taking the absolute piss though, cannot support that in a million years.
@Fiendish-Beaver unlike many other AC Collector's Editions that were able to be purchased directly from the Ubisoft Store, this was an exclusive at GAME. I would wager they sold out of stock fairly quickly, they usually do for Collector's editions for major IP.
Between the time preorders went up for that and now, GAME's website has gone to all sorts of hell and virtually everything they had up for preorder previously is no longer viewable (and all order histories are missing from customer's accounts on the new site), so you can't even have a look to see what they are charging for it at this point, or even if they will sell it at all.
