I don't think value is the right line of justification. Several hundred dollars to buy an Xbone, maybe $1,000 to buy a reasonable gaming PC.
I think the main thing is it will have lost a sense of 'newness' and 'freshness' among PS4-only buyers. If they want to shift units, SE should drop it down a rung from a marketing perspective.
IMO it could really sell if they gave it a moderate discount, in the same vein as the reduced Ratchet & Clank launch price.

@get2sammyb Now do Bloodborne please.
Re: PlayLink Games, Including Hidden Agenda, Delayed in Europe
I want to see this game done well and to do well. Pushing the date to a month after Mario/Wolfenstein/AC drop on 27/10, should help with the latter.
Re: BioShock Creator Ken Levine's New Studio Is Named Ghost Story, Sci-Fi RPG in the Works
So System Shock 3 with a new IP veneer? I'll take it!
Re: Sony May Need to Defuse This Uncharted Movie Thing
@3Above Although he goes about it in a fairly light hearted way, Drake is pretty much a mass murderer so R rated isn't too far off the mark haha
