Atm the Destiny is the most polished shell of a game you can buy, it will live or die by it DLC's which will hopefully give it the depth it so desparatly needs, as someone has already pointed out the gunplay is excellent and everything is there to build on for it to live up to its hype.
A game that will live or die by its longevity and depth will not get any favourable reviews within 24 hours of release.
I described the beta to my friends as Borderlands with out the humour, it may sound negative but it was meant as a solid description, the gun play was great even to a console fps hater like myself and I saw enough to make me decide to preorder.
Looking forward to some good multi-player sessions in the storyline with friends and tinkering with the skills to see how viable build diversity in the classes will be, if this turns out to be good I think Destiny will live up to the hype and then some.

Re: Review: Surviving Mars (PS4)
I'm playing this on PC at the moment and it's a blast but it's very much a niche game, if it's your thing you wont be disappointed.
Re: Weirdness: This Is How Activision Should Have Marketed Destiny
@Alpha True, but because of the decision to release as it was it will live or die by the DLC.
