Missing a big piece of information wrt to being slightly behind ps4 in that the ps4 had already had a price cut and the ps5 hasn’t so it’s very impressive especially since the ps5 cost quite a bit more than the ps4 even before that console had its price cut.

Sounds good but not for me. I don’t like games that don’t have a story focus or don’t explain simple things like what items do just so they can be artificially hard

If no difficulty settings that sucks and I won’t buy. I hate turn based combat especially Personas so I appreciate being able to turn it down to the easiest to experience the story and characters. If I can’t do that here that will be a major bummer because this game looks so cool

@Deoxyr1bose see I think the writing is way better in Returnal especially with the themes it deals with. The main story of Hades is bang average both in scenario and writing where with the characters it’s the opposite the dynamics are really good and well written for the most part.

@KundaliniRising333 oh Returnal is way better than Hades even though the reviews don’t show that. Hades barely has any variety in its biomes or enemies and the main story is average. It gets by on its charming characters and artstyle which is beautiful

I really liked Hades 1 I would give it a 8 or 8.5 but imo it’s one of the most overrated games ever and it looks like the sequel will get even more over the top hyperbole praise

I love how the article throws shade at Sony with that “dying on that hill” comment for doing something every other publisher does for their MP games smh. So author do you find it unreasonable Sony wants players to make a FREE account and link it for a game they own,spent seven years funding and throwing manpower at?

@RudeAnimat0r how did Sony drop the ball when this has been a requirement and known since before release and is just the same thing every other major publisher does? Also lol at poor Arrowhead who supposedly didn’t know about evil Sony doing this even though they’ve been working with Sony for over a decade and spent seven years on just Helldivers 2 with Sony funding the game the whole time. Arrowhead knew about this since the contract was signed which is why it was there before and at launch before they had to shut it off temporarily because the servers ***** the bed

I give it a 9 and so far it’s my favorite game this year and I’ve played all the big ones.

It’s not for me because I don’t have a crew and I heard solo isn’t fun but I would like to play it. It’s funny though how communities like here or resetera seems so against mp games yet this game is one of the best selling on the psn store and seems popular but the poll has the overwhelming majority saying it’s not for them.

@RBRTMNZ we can’t say all those 10’s are from the chuds. I mean yes I def agree a lot probably are but I’m not going to sell a great game short because of them

Anyway I’m loving this game it’s just so good from the combat to level design,soundtrack etc. I’m even really enjoying the story the further I get especially the lore of it all which is great imo. The graphics are beautiful,the art design is outstanding and there’s just so much to explore,find and do that I never get bored

@DennisReynolds it’s def not Nioh but it’s way deeper than Wo Long. It’s got a crazy amount of movesets and specials for each of its numerous weapons compared to Wo Long and the A.I is smarter than it was in Wo Long

@Stickleman the parry isn’t really slow and that’s more Sekiro,the rest stops do spawn enemies so I’ll give you that and limited health potions has been a thing since before soul games. Like I said the game is more GOW/DMC with a sprinkling of Bayo and Sekiro. The game has difficulty settings,way more focus on cutscenes and story,sidequests,less reliance on opening shortcuts in its level design with areas that are more like the newer GOW games etc.

@DennisReynolds what ronin is infinitely deeper than Wo Long like have you even played ROTR?

@DennisReynolds in what universe! I liked Wo Long but it had nowhere near the depth of Stellar Blade or TN Nioh or Rise of the Ronin had.

@NEStalgia budget automata lmao this games combat craps on automata’s from a great height and you can tell this game had a big budget behind it hell the studio who made it are flushed with cash. The combat is also way better than Wo Longs and Elden Ring especially ER which has never been some combat masterclass it gets by on it’s exploring,level design and art direction

@Stickleman it’s not souls like at all and I hate how that misinformation got spread. It’s more DMC and GOW mixed with a slight sprinkling of Bayo.

Had the digital deluxe edition preordered ever since I finished the demo. So far I’m just a little beyond the end of the demo and I’m loving the game. The level design is really very good with tons of places to explore,I’m really into the lore and enjoying the little bit of story so far and I don’t know what the review was talking about calling the voice acting atrocious because I just don’t hear it especially using that strong of a word. I’ve heard way worse voice acting in DMC and RE games for example. The combat remains the star though like this is one of the best feeling action games in years and I go out of my way looking for fights lol.

@Zeke68 Ubisoft games def have size/playtime hell they are too big/long and quality is up to each individual person so I can’t comment on that. I just remember paying like 110 or 120 for the steelbook gold edition of Origins from GameStop back when I was physical so thats what I meant by I don’t get the outrage because ubi has been doing this for awhile now at least I’m the US
