@Steeleye50 I could have swore I read a couple months ago that you could now stream games with PS Plus Premium without connecting to your PS5. That's good to know. Regarding the streaming issues to your Portal, maybe it's your wifi encryption level. I doubt it's the same issue, but my stepson has an Xbox One, and I had WPA3 encryption enabled on my network. His download speeds were literal crap on my network. I had to encrypt with WPA2 only in order for his Xbox to download at max speeds. I couldn't even use the hybrid WPA2/WPA3, WPA2 only. I have a half gig fiber connection and his speeds matched that afterward. Really odd to me but whatever works I guess.

Skyrim. There, I said it. I feel ashamed because I purchased a PS5 three years ago and haven't put in more than maybe a handful of hours into any game of this generation. I played Skyrim when it originally came out on the 360 and played almost 400 hours, joined every guild, did almost every side quest (before the DLC's came out though), and got maybe 3/4 of the way through the main story. But never finished it or any of the DLC's. That was 14 years ago in another life it seems. I decided to download Skyrim on PS5 about a week ago and I've put in 60 hours so far. I messed around with mods before I actually started a fresh vanilla playthrough. It's amazing how much content and support this game has received! After I beat the story and DLC's, I'll install mods for my next playthrough for sure. As I play through the vanilla version, I find myself hooked with all of the same feelings of wonder and awe that captivated me so long ago. I CANNOT put this game down. I love it. Like really love it. It made me realize it's my fav game of all time. It's the only game I've ever put this much time into after 14 years. I can tell the itch won't go away until I complete it with every DLC and I experiment with mods for another go. That being said, what other games have Skyrim lovers found that scratch the same itch?

@Qu1n0n3z
@Qu1n0n3z Quick question if you don't mind. I want to get to the bottom of why some users are having issues with overheating on the map screen. I have a theory that I haven't heard anyone else discussing anywhere. In the PS5 video settings I believe, there's an option to allow for 120Hz output. Even with my cheap cheap cheap 60Hz 4KTV, it allows me to choose it as an option. It's not greyed out like the VRR option (PS5 detects my TV is cheap and doesn't support it). So it's odd to me I could have the 120Hz option enabled when my TV clearly doesn't support it. By chance, do you have the 120Hz option enabled on your PS5, but don't have a 120Hz TV? If DS2 detects your PS5 having 120Hz enabled, and is running the game on the map screen with an uncapped framerate, but you only have a 60Hz TV, is it causing the overheating issue? I have the base model that came with GOW Ragnarok bundle a few years ago. Before I played DS2 and heard about the map screen being uncapped, I went through my video settings and noticed I had 120Hz enabled and turned it off. On another note regarding the liquid metal getting too hot, I have always had my PS5 laying down horizontally. So any chance of it getting too hot and melting downward from a vertical position has never happened. I would think even it was only one time that it was vertical and the liquid metal go too hot, it would continue to have overheating issues whether it was vertical or horizontal afterwards or not, supposing some of the liquid metal is no longer in it's proper place. If any of that makes sense.
