Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Baldur's Gate 3?

@KundaliniRising333 15-20 hours in. Seemed to be a similar consensus on the forum I linked to above as well.

I’d say those hours played coincided with the two-choice option to progress to the next area and that’s when we experienced the freezing.

We were having a great time before and just getting into the groove of it but this totally takes us out of the immersion and general flow of play.

@somnambulance it’s disappointing that split screen co-op was included as a feature on the PS5 with the state that it’s in.

I would have been completely happy to wait months after launch to get this feature. But that would mean Larian would need to be honest and forthcoming about the product they’re selling.

@somnambulance I think the split screen issues were largely ignored because of how great the game is overall, including single player/online performance.

And if any couch co-op split screen reviewing was done, I would guess it wasn’t for more than a few hours. Our issues didn’t really start until we were presented with the choice to take the two paths to proceed to the next area- underdark or mountain…idk I just gave up at that point because of how bad it was. Probably 15-20 hours in at that point (we play slowly).

I only intended to ever play this game with my beautiful wife, couch co-op style. It’s completely broken. Freezing and zero fps during many actions, specifically changing party members, summoning, etc.

No acknowledgement from Larian yet but this forum explains it all. Very bummed especially because I’ve wasted $80 and 100GB.
