Since Sony has been releasing exclusives like Horizon on Steam and I think this is part of greasing the wheels to get Alyx on PSVR2. Also since Apple VR is using a Sony company for their screens I think that really bodes well for the new HMD to also be a real jump in pixel density, image quality and FOV. And as nice as wireless is I don’t expect that to be an option and kind of hope it’s not at first. Put all the money into the screens and tracking tech but wired to keep the price as low as possible for wide adoption, then come out with a wireless kit or a pro version that is wireless if needed.
