@jaknight94 same here mate im in australia ,we have our own football and I still wouldnt take a day off playing some station for a sport I dont give 2 rats about ... if this is the case sony need to completely sack everyone and re hire people who will keep it up and running for the rest of us ..

@SupaColeMan agreed mate considering a change back to PC now .. over forking out money for consoles xbl and psn and getting poor service ... something that is this broke maybe should be left until its fixed right

Wow and everyone said it wouldnt happen again , this is an absolute joke .. I think sony need to think long and hard about whether or not they are going to be able to sustain a stable system .. I think psn should be free if they cant do it properly ..

@ScopeNDeath obviously MS arent inferior if the had EVERYONE back online .. I think Sony need to Hire MS's tech group .. yeah the might have less content etc on xbl but from what I can see is xbl is more stable and secure than psn , hence that is why every xbl user is online and has been for a day or so now.. do you really think psn is going to be better after this , im probs not the one thats going to say no ..
Lile I said ive been a fan for 20 years had every playstation and still do have them but I think it may be getting close to do a complete switch to the competition and use the ps4 as a back up console .. at least I know I would be informed well about things like this or other issues ..

Im in australia and cant login in on ps4 at all still im going to try again in 45 mins if it doesnt work im not filling some sony F@$kwits pocket with any more of my hard earned $$$ .. id rather give it Microsoft now , after 20 years of being loyal I think its time to upgrade to a console and company that looks after everyone not just certain areas of the globe

I agree with you mate I to see the Xbox one smashing the ps4 in 2015 but not just in pricing and Sonys lack of communication .. I think Sonys ignorance and arrogance towards the consumers in this have dealt them a big blow , little tweets here and there are not good enough and I fail to see how after the downtime and everything else including the lack of communication are going to bring confidence back .. I also think MS support , PR etc is far more superior to Sony and the tech side of things also .. ive been a ps fan since the very first console but now ive lost complete confidence in them .. Sony your ignorance is not only costing you money but its costing you your loyal fan base and their confidence in you to provide them with something that your competition can do better .. yeah xbox had the ddos attack to but they were back up and running within 24 hrs ..

Still down in australia .. wtf Sony , xbl had their servers back up in quarter of the time .. so glad I bought an xbox one .. I think lizard squad are right to say Sony and MS rip us .. why the f@#k should we pay our hard earned $$$$ for consoles , games and online gaming etc

@wbh1138 yes ddos attacks are hard to stop but on the other hand , seeing as its happened before Sony should have been better prepared especially since they were pre warned it was going to happen and its not like they dont have the $$$$ or the tech power to come up with a solution for when it does or did happen .. im with @wiesniak1 I think Sony , MS and lizard squad are all as bad as each other in a way , 1 Sony and Ms for being ignorant and failing to attempt to prevent the attack or at least work on a solution earlier when they were pre warned it was going to happen and 2 the lizard swuad for initiating it .. no ones innocent here as far as I see it

Im in australia , yesterday I went and purchased a brand spanking new xbox one and been online since .. ive stuck with sony ever since its first console but sadly like so many others ive lost faith and gone to MS and put my ps4 in the cupboard probably never to see sunlight again ..
Although everyone says Sony is not to blame I think thats BS , didnt they have a similar attack once before , youd think there would be a protocol in place or even a solution on how to fight or resolve this so their servers wouldve been up going earlier , I mean they were warned it was going to happen and if they had an idea it was going to happen , so why not jump on it early .. we are about to hit day 3 here in australia and , from what I can gather its already been 3 days for overseas gamers or longer im not sure but the time frame couldve been alot less if they had a structure in placeto combat it ...
We spend as consumers a crap load of money on consoles , games , dlc and subscriptions and what ever else its hard to see how they wouldnt have everything in order to repair etc alot sooner ..

I hope lizard squad like biting pillows .. theyll look real enticing for the guys when they hit the jails ..

Second day will turn into third day, third into fourrh and so on , pffft it may not be Sony fault but I still think as its happened before they shouldve had a strategy in place to resolve this a lot quicker... bad form Sony and yeah xbl might have been down but its not now as ive been playing online with mates on my new one console I went and bought yesterday ... Sony need to lift their game otherwise they are going to lose more loyal gamers like me .. im over the bugs etc time for a change ..

@boerewors I agree totally with you on that point , bit also at some stage companies like MS and sony are going to pass on the cost of having to fix the mess up caused by these hackers over and over again , thus raising the prices of games and subscriptions for us the consumers .. not exactly fair when you consider the costs of games and dlc etc .. I think alot of ppl will go back to pc so as to avoid at least the subscription costs ..

@alecty17 like I said im not waiting forever and a day for the psn to come back up I get 2 weeks off a year as I work offshore on an oilrig I want to enjoy some online gameplay with mates not sit wait for something that they obviously have no idea how to fix yet

Oh n btw all my ps4 friends say still down in australia and not even a glimmer of it being resolved .. we are the customers and the customer is always right ...

So have just comeback from my local EB games with an xbox one console set it all up and guess what ?? Im online playing bf4 and cod ghosts and advanced warfighter as well as titan fall ... im not waiting hrs , days , weeks , months etc for sony to het the problem resolved .. adiós ps4 just another obsolete machine to go in the cupboard with the wii , ps3, ps1&2 , sega dreamcast and 3do machines ... psn is a big let down .. sony you fail to deliver once again ..

Maybe only the ps3 psn is up and going .. prett stupid that sony couldnt have ran this scenario as a possiblilty of what could happen in the future when building the psn and had a way to fix it before it happened then these hackers wouldnt be sitting in their grandmas basement sitting in their reinforced fat geek chairs with their acne cream in one hand and a rag for cleaning their glasses in the other , must be a sad life being rejected by every girl you meet hey ...

Still down here in australia , was working fine here a couple of hours ago ..I know xbox lives going through the same atm but can guarantee theyll have their issues sorted a hell of alot quicker than sony will .. spend too much money building some mediocre games and fixing them than on online security , do we get compensated for the days/weeks this could take off our online memberships etc ..
