Meh. I like Mortal Kombat, but I'll just watch the Expansion's cutscenes and endings on YouTube.
The Invasions Seasons eventually felt more like a second job, I realized I wasn't having fun anymore. MK1 is good, but it feels like a step back from MK11.
Scalpers are faster than The Flash, Sonic, The Road Runner and Speedy Gonzales. When it comes to hoarding collector's items and selling them at overblown prices, nobody can outrun them.
Plot Twist: That's the canon ending of the Concord story. The Northstar crew are possessed by a Lovecraftian eldritch entity, which commands them to throw themselves off a cliff.
@naruball Sorry it took me this long to reply, I was busy. It's true, Sony in my opinion should have developed some Evergreen franchises that don't cost as much to develop, similar to Nintendo's strategy. However, they chose to enclose themselves into developing mostly AAA games and neglecting some of their PS1-3 IPs, which now has them backed into a corner regarding game development and sales.
@naruball Sony also has plenty of their own IPs... which they've neglected or outright abandoned, such as Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Twisted Metal, Ape Escape, The Legend Of Dragoon, Resistance, Siren, Wild ARMS and others.
Nintendo has developed, besides Mario, Zelda, Pokémon and their spinoffs, several other IPs throughout the years, such as Metroid, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Xenoblade, Advance Wars, ARMS, Splatoon, Smash and others. They know that relying too much on third parties and neglecting the development of their own franchises was too risky.
Sony and Microsoft are learning the hard way that buying studios isn't a fix-it-all solution. Developing their own IPs, both by creating new ones and keeping classic ones relevant, is important too.
@nomither6 Haha. Seriously. Concord makes current Overwatch look good.
OW is not that dead, though. Around the time of the Concord Open Beta, Overwatch 2 had around 28,000 players just on Steam. Add players from other platforms (PC Launchers, Consoles) and OW2, despite all the controversies, remains pretty active.
The animated short actually is decent, I like the character interactions. They should have released it and other shorts like it in the previous months, people may have grown more invested in the lore, setting and characters.

Good old Ubisoft, constantly reminding us why it's wise to never buy their games on day one.

Re: Japan Sales Charts: PS5 Continues to Tank in Japan Following Price Increase
This is how it happened.
This is how PlayStation in Japan died.
Nintendo has fully taken over Japan.
Re: Freelance Artist Attempts to Redesign PS5, PC Flop Concord's Cast
Kudos to the artist. They made Lennox (the lizard guy) actually look cool.

Re: Until Dawn PS5 Is Priced at $60 / £60
Nintendo now won't be the only one being pointed at for selling older games at price of brand new games, LOL.

Re: Mini Review: Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Remastered (PS4) - Another Adventure Game Win
You crack me up, little buddy.
I played the game back on PS3. Can easily recommend it to anyone interested in comedic adventure games.
Here's hoping one day they make a completely new Sam & Max adventure game.
Re: Preview: Dead Rising Plays and Looks Like a Dream in PS5 Deluxe Remaster
Awesome. Looking forward to this. The Dead Rising franchise is awesome and deserves to be active again.
It'll be faaantastic.
Re: Concord Pre-Load Available Now on PS5, Post-Launch Roadmap Revealed
I'm sticking to Overwatch 2 and Splatoon 3, thank you very much.

Re: Surprise! Valorant Is Officially Out Now for Everyone on PS5
@IOI To add to the comedy, Overwatch 2's new hero, Juno, releases just a few days after Concord. It seems the Universe itself wants Concord to fail.
Re: Hand Animated PS5 Platformer The Eternal Life of Goldman Looks Incredible
Looks great, hope it's successful. Might solve a mystery, rewrite history. The worst of messes become successes!
Re: Bungie Accused of Overselling Itself to Sony, Promising Success It Couldn't Deliver
And this is why Nintendo rarely buys studios and would rather invest in their own brands and IPs, so they don't get conned like this.
Re: Surprise! Valorant Is Officially Out Now for Everyone on PS5
@jrt87 Yes, we did. We all did.
Poor Concord. It was born to suffer, crash and burn.
Re: Surprise! Valorant Is Officially Out Now for Everyone on PS5
Another free to play Hero Shooter launches on PlayStation, and just a few weeks before Concord and its $40 price tag. Ouch.
Also, the characters in that image for Valorant look much better than the entire Concord cast.
Re: Bungie to Layoff 220 Employees, Will Be Further Integrated into Sony
Sony: ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.
Dang, to think that the original creators of Halo are ending up like this. It's actually sad.
