Re: Talking Point: What Do You Make of Microsoft and Sony's Call of Duty Quarrel?

Skuggs23

I feel the situation as a whole crazy. I think MS will ruin COD even though COD hasn’t been that good besides the remake of Modern Warfare. If MS thinks this is going to sale their console they are fooling themselves. Removing from PlayStation is idiotic if you think of the monetary aspect of it. Yeah MS has money but it has been confirmed Xbox is one of the weakest if not the weakest in regards to bringing funds to the MS business. As for Sony I feel will get over it. Sony continues to build new worlds and IP’s. Lol just bring SOCOM back or even MAG. They will find a way they always do.

Re: Maybe Don't Get Your Hopes Up for Future Bethesda Games on PS5

Skuggs23

Out of those games Elder Scrolls is the only one I would miss. Fallout just isn't the same. Doom was a great game but Elder Scroll is my game of all the choices from Bethesda just to be honest. It will suck but after I look at it. It is like its 3 to 5 games we will possibly miss on the PS5 and the biggest is elder scrolls. Hopefully MS doesn't mess with their development and try to put their hands in making the game which would honestly not be a good thing but hey good for MS with that mega purchase.

Re: Reaction: Spider-Man PS5 Debacle Shows Sony Is Out of Touch

Skuggs23

@BAMozzy l honestly no I would play the games in my catalog that I already own. I don’t need a new coat of paint to make it seem better than it already is I wouldn’t buy the game again either it makes no sense. That is like buying Skyrim all over again like why we have played the game how many times from ps3 to ps4 and pc like haven’t plowed through the game and did everything that made it amazing accomplished everything that was there to accomplished. I could see if there is something new about the game new paint and graphics job that doesn’t change the game as a whole or add anything isn’t worth a repurchase or upgrade in my opinion especially if you didn’t play it.

Re: Reaction: Spider-Man PS5 Debacle Shows Sony Is Out of Touch

@BAMozzy and that is great that they upgraded a last gen Game? What about this gen what are they generating that hasn't been played already.... nothing playing a old game all over again can be honestly boring. I have high expectation for Xbox don't get me wrong because it will push Sony but upgrading your old games because you don't have any real console release games to help sale is a smack in the face to the consumers lets be real. They already proved that with that terrible Halo debacle and now they purchased Bethesda which has a good and bad situation to it.

Re: Reaction: Spider-Man PS5 Debacle Shows Sony Is Out of Touch

@captainsandman hmm Sony not a consumer friendly company is a long shot. They are by far one of the best when it comes to delivering games to its community. They are the best at it and continues to deliver over and over again. Now MS purchase of Bethesda was a shot in the chest but when are they creating their next big title ESVI or even a doom game or anything of that nature.... who knows could be a couple of more years and it still may come to our console.... maybe. At the end of Sony delivers and continues to deliver we have games to play with the new console on release so consumer friendly is exactly what Sony is.

Re: Reaction: Spider-Man PS5 Debacle Shows Sony Is Out of Touch

Sony is out of touch is a stretch in my opinion. You can still play Spiderman on your PS5 and if your smart you can keep your ps4 and if your even smarter you can buy the Spiderman Miles Morales upgraded version and get both games for $69 dollars. At the end of the day because they didn't remake the game via hard copy has them out of touch is a stretch. Honestly It doesn't bother me at all. I have the game, platinum the game no reason to be upset because they are not bringing the game out again hard copy for the 5. We can't have everything we want when at the end of the day we get a spiderman game in the first place. So keep stretching it

Re: Sony Has a Mystery Event Planned for PAX Online Next Week

Skuggs23

It is funny how game sites are saying that Sony needs to speak up. honestly the price force push is real funny. Some say that Sony is going to be hurt by the MS announcement of the pricing and the S lol. The S under powered by both Sony's console. Its honestly sad and I will continue to say that it was a waste for MS to even drop that second console as a whole its just a another upgrade of the one X.

Re: Everyone's Talking About PS5's Price Again

Skuggs23

I honestly think this console power mess is highly over exaggerated. I don't understand why they continue to push this narrative how powerful the xbox is and or how under powered the PlayStation is. I honestly think the games will prove the outlier in all of this. Look at the PS4 Pro and the Xbox X. The X was more powerful than the pro and yet the pro had a better game catalog. So at the end of the day it will come down to games and I think Sony delivers time and time again. Xbox has continued to lack in this fight and will continue to do so until it changes the narrative. Games will will the console war no matter what. The power of the consoles will do nothing just like this gen. The games will show us which console to get and my money is on Sony because they have showed us time and time again that they can deliver.

Re: Guide: PS5 SSD Storage - How Much Hard Drive Space PlayStation 5 Has, How You Can Expand GB with SSD Upgrades, and Why It's Better Than HDD

Skuggs23

@stu123 storage space is a problem for all systems as of right now. The games are so big now. But from the tech show that Mr. Cerny showed they may have found a way around the issue in regards of install size. Remember the copy part of the install is the biggest and longest part of games on consoles right now. So if they are able to cut back on that with this custom SSD they may be able to cut down in game size but I feel that is a stretch. The tech show or system infrastructure break down was very deep so a lot of things I'm familiar with but the SSD card they have built is every bit as powerful for the system and puts it on par with the Xbox power and speed. This generation will still be based off of games still not shear power of the consoles so we will see.

Re: Guide: PS5 SSD - What Is It and What Does It Do?

Skuggs23

So they have a slot for a external HD and also a slot to add a SSD hard drive. I think the down side from the external hard drive is that it won't be able to use the power of the configuration of the internal solid state if I heard Mr. Cerny state. This system architecture is setup pretty nice. I am excited about what Sony is doing and that they aren't looking for raw power but more of a balance of power and stability.
