@FullbringIchigo I agree, and it's even better than developing for two different PC settings. PC has far more software/hardware variability to deal with, yet these two products (PS4 & Pro) are still two constants, which is far easier to make adjustments for.
People keep saying developers are going to have skyrocketing costs by developing both a PS4 & Pro version. They've already faced this situation before when they release the same game at the same time on multiple hardware generations (ie. Watch_Dogs, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, etc - all running on both PS3 and PS4). Sure, indie devs will probably be feeling the pinch more chasing Pro, yet they also probably shouldn't be focusing on HDR/4K to begin with. They can just focus their development on a regular PS4 game which Pro players will still be able to play.
Crashing was extreme on my PS4, second only to Wasteland 2. Heck I didn't even have this many issues with AC:Unity. I spent maybe 50 hours with it while chasing the plat and it crashed probably 35 times, mostly when using the hyperdrive or uploading discoveries. I had to start over, as the first of the three hard system locks I experienced while playing ended up corrupting my data. Even playing offline, it had crashes, yet thankfully not as many. I can understand why people would want a refund based of the technical issues, let alone the absent features discussed on numerous occasions. I still enjoyed the gameplay loop, yet I resold that thing as soon as I unlocked my plat.
@Kidfried Agreed - they probably have a dozen of these box arts for different languages, regions, and in this case, limited editions, and humans being humans, a mistake occurred.
The last thing people paying a premium price tag want is either mistakes or manufacturing delays, yet obviously people are going to prefer the former over the latter, so they can at least play the game on launch day.
@Grawlog It's a good thing only fools collect 1s and 0s in a remote database to impress others then. Now what they do for themselves, is an entirely different thing.
Didn't Sony executives take a 50% pay cut and give up their bonuses during the restructuring of the past few years? Seems like this bonus is due now that they're profitable.
I just plug the controller into a USB wall charger near where I'm sitting while I play. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, so I'm use to dealing with cords, so it's barely noticeable to me, and since the cord isn't running from my PS4, across the floor to where I sit, there's no way to trip over it. Seems like a reasonable compromise, and slightly more environmentally friendly than using an additional battery when it's truly not necessary, at least not for myself.

Re: Talking Point: What June PlayStation Plus Free Games Do You Want?
@JoeBlogs
Likely because there aren't enough indie devs willing to potentially devalue their product with PS+.
