@Richnj you get payed for the end product when the game ships. So the more crunch that is put into game the faster it gets out and then they get payed.
@Akurusu so brave dude, I work 55 hours this week and most other weeks. It’s funny how making money is bourgeoisie thing now. All this coddling does is make weak people
@RevGaming yeah but OG Xbox had a few system buyers, Kotor, halo, fable and of course dead or alive beach volleyball. Idk I like exclusives, it’s gotten me to buy pretty much every system from 2000 onward. Being able to find games everywhere is boring and I hope it stops
@RevGaming yes the last popular one and I don’t think console gaming is going anywhere for awhile, but I think the PS4 / Xbone generation has been the safest, kinda boring generation to date. Don’t get me wrong it had awesome games but it’s kind of a disappointment. Guess that is what happens though when there was no competition
@GZoo I am thinking either a merger with Konami or Sony buys their IP. Konami makes bank in the pachinko machine business, their gaming studio not so much. But I’d love to see the IPs I grew up with in the 80s and 90s get revived and give them the love they deserve
@theheadofabroom they are taking the choice out of gaming from people for one easy monthly payment of $14.99, instead of letting me choose what I want to use my money on. It’s the same as our great socialized healthcare, where everyone is expected to chip in and get the same product, instead of choosing their own plan. So yeah it’s exactly like socialism. Sorry to burst you bubble. Btw I wonder how people will react when they try to recoup some of this money and gamepass is 30 bucks a month, oh I know that most people have a few years already payed for but MS is going to want to make that up too eventually.
@get2sammyb 10 dollars really breaking the bank, I was buying 59.99$ games 15 years ago while make 10 bucks a hour and my parents paying 80-90 for some snes games in the 90s. That’s some petty *****, acting like Sony owes you something. Go over to Gamepass, I think you’d do better with their cheap games and smug fanbase. People like you are so shortsighted and can’t see the forest for the trees.
@Tielo all you need is a fortnite, pubg or something that knocks it out of the park and it makes up for all the failures. I just want online fps, that’s not BF or CoD, or whatever Warhawk was. Those were fun and with bungies knowledge in those areas, the sky could be the limit. The PS4 generation was pretty great, but it kinda was a 1 note wonder compared previous generations. I want more to chose from and as long as it’s not free to play crap, they could mitigate a lot of the cost factor
@SoulChimera where do you find the blood dragon content? Go to psn and look the game up? Sorry I didn’t know that was part of it, just thought the gun, armor and pet was all we got and I’m at work so I can’t check
@Tielo what do you consider failure? Is it a time frame because if you say a game that is live for 5 years but gets shutdown is a failure, then you prolly right but I’d like to see your source on that statistic. Then the second question is what’s your point? Take a chance, throw the dice, if you fail at least you tried. No one can take that from you
@HuJack007 that was a great game!! This was a great reminder how many online games Sony used to make and most were first party. I hope they can get back to adding stuff like this into there catalog
@BrotherFilmriss damn dude your edgy, sorry that Destiny wasn’t made for you. But I’m pretty sure you whine about everything you comment on if I’d look back at your history. Destiny is awesome, almost perfect fps and the story is great. Prolly hold a grudge about the demo of 8 years ago and still can’t let it go. When a chick dumps you, do you just sit there and talk crap about her instead of moving on with your life? I’m sure you do, get over yourself and when you finally accomplish something I hope some nobody like you craps all over it.
@Salt_AU I understand, just wish for something better, btw your comment above that is spot on. Activision is a dumpster fire from the top to the bottom of that company.
@nessisonett what does hitler, nice name drop, having anything to do with the Cold War. He was dead. And yes rockets took us to the moon and made the microchip. Vietnam yes, but that was a proxy war. You wouldn’t have your iPhones, PS, Netflix or pretty much anything if it wasn’t for the Cold War and the urgency that technology needed to be developed. There might not be a tomorrow so you better do all you can today. I did nuke drills in school for 10 years, I know what the USSR was and when I see you talk, you’d make a great comrade to the red army
Awesome, I see people complaining on an arms race being bad for gaming. Just like in real life, yes the Cold War was scary, but amazing things came out of it, we went to the moon. When Nintendo and Sega were in an arms race, there was no cross platform and many of the games were different for each console. But the games were great and the PlayStation came out of it. I’m sick of half assed games that come out that are broke as all hell, because a vocal few think we should all hold hands and share. Screw that I want amazing games and games that don’t take a decade to drop. The industry need a shake up, being passionate about Sony, Nintendo or Xbox is a great thing because passion is something this world is lacking. I don’t care about all this whining. Visionaries like Carmack, Romero, Kojima and Miyamoto weren’t worried about crunch, they did whatever they had to become the greatest and will always be remembered. The current group are pathetic and they know it so they do the poor me. Bungie makes amazing FPS and has amazing assets that Sony can now access. Send us back to the moon, to both Sony and Xbox. “ Your either first or your last” -Ricky Bobby
@nessisonett why do you think an arms race is a bad thing? Didn’t sega and Nintendo then also Sony competed in an arms race. Some of the greatest games came from that, Sonic, MGS, Chrono trigger, phantasy star, castlevanias and contras. These weren’t cross platform and guess who profited, the gamer. Now we get broke ass games and no one has a passion to be a winner. The Cold War gave us amazing tech that were leaps and bounds more advanced than before and paved the way for what we have now. Stop being dramatic, it’ll be better than ok. It’s going to be great
@AFCC they make great IP’s and have some of the best assets in game. Halo then Destiny, if that’s not an amazing 1-2 punch for fps in your mind then I don’t know what will change your mind. They make great, complete games at launch
@GeneJacket I think it’s more the assets that Bungie has that are now available to Sony is far more important than Destiny. But I think it’s a great pickup and Destiny is hands down the best feeling FPS ever made

Re: PS5 Architect Mark Cerny to Help on Haven Studios' Inclusive and Caring Online Game
How is pong not a inclusive game? I got moderated for that? Selling 10 copies of that game will hurt alot more than a joke

@RevGaming yeah the last truly great generation

@HEVIHITR no crap right? These people should take themselves over to gamepass, socialistic gaming at its best. Won’t miss their whinny bull crap.

Great news, good for Bungie and Sony. They deserve the great thing ahead

Just wait til Konami sells it’s ip, gets bought or merges with Sony.
