Re: PS Plus Premium Members Stunned at Dramatic Decline in Quality

I do wish Sony would acknowledge users like me who have been solid supporters, bought the games, and now PS Premium gives allllllll those 50-80$ games (sales tax 9%+ in some states) for free for just ~13$ a month (based on 160$/yr sub). Even just some extra points, an alternative free game if I already have purchased the free game full price and subscribe?

I am actually apprehensive about buying any Sony games on PS5 anymore because I haven't barely made it 1/3 of the way through and the game is now free or even streaming and free on PS+Premium.

If I do want to permanently purchase, PC offers better options and graphics + all DLC for the same price (a few months later).,Even things like Saga Frontier and Trials of Mana I was day 1 and wish I had just waited as they are so lengthy I never had time like when I was 14. I do feel ripped off. People say Gamepass is killing the market but it's really Playstation Plus. Gamepass tells me that they will give these games up front so I know not to buy them. They tell me PLENTY of time in advance a game will be leaving so I can chooe to save to buy it if I want. Gamepass has been up front that they need to raise prices to continue offering Day 1 releases. Does it suck have to spend more, yes!!! Do you want game developers to get paid so they don't get burnt out and quit?! YES!! Does it make sense a game in 1990 was 50$ and a game in 2025 is 59$ and we are upset it might be 69 or 79$?? No. That makes no sense. .

I do still think despite it all Microsoft recognizes how new this market is comparatively and can see losing their customer. Sony seems to have forgotten that they wouldn't be here if Sega and Nintendo hadn't screwed up. They are about to do the same thing potentially with cloud gaming and decimate the industry.

It's like Sony looks at the stuff people love about gamepass (Browser/cloud gaming, a great integrated app, day one releases you can count on, etc) and said 'NO. Let's NOT do that because we are Sony. Our games have a fixed price model and we will not go against that." You know Sony/PS Store is being sued right for their control over digital gaming prices? That plays into this as well.

Re: Mini Review: Gungrave G.O.R.E. (PS5) - It's Definitely a New Gungrave

Thank god its on Gamepass. Evil West- I mean Gungrave looks fun but I didn’t know how they could make that work for a 10-15 hour game.
Edit: Just played the first level on Gamepass streaming on my phone with a backbone controller. It’s very responsive but the melee leave something to be desired, and I think they showed me almost all the moves on the first level so I’m not sure how much it’s going to change up. Overall its good for a short beat-‘em-up/shooter session when you want something mindless, but this will definitely not keep your attention for hours on end.

I’m looking forward to this and actually preordered it and got the PC version for like 26$. At that price I think it’s definitely going to be worth it. The story sounds interesting and i like the setting. I’m a horror junkie though so anything remotely horror is going to interest me more than the average person.
