Holy crap, kids, removing Hitler from a crappy Japanese visual novel is not "erasing history". If you want history, go read a damned book... if the government hasn't already burned or banned them. Stop disingenuously conflating the two because you're mad that Hitler can't be more at the front of popular media.
If you think him not being in a nothing burger of a visual novel game is "hiding him" and "erasing history", you're not the type that actually wants people educated on our actual history and are just mad because Hitler is censored. Stop the obvious and transparent performative grandstanding.
I don't think you understand PC well if you think the average PC gamer spends that much on a card. You can spend $400-$600 and play every game there is to play with high performance(can even go cheaper, tbh). Absolutely no one is spending that much money for a graphics card except people with too much money to burn that don't the lack of value in that. I've put $1000 total into my PC and it's played everything I've needed with minimal upgrades through both the PS4 and the PS5 generation and it'll soar far into the life of the PS6. It absolutely is cheaper than console for the average PC gamer, not for the nuts that are willing to throw money around to squeeze every bit of improvement they can get (which I would argue falls off at some point regardless of the money you spend.)
A thousand or less every 10-15 years with a possible small upgrade here and there is far cheaper than buying 2 or 3 consoles and having to pay extra a month just to play online.
But regardless, this isn't really on topic.
More on topic I don't really care about the Pro because 95% of the games I play on my PS5 are older games from the PS/2/3 generation that I didnt have to pay for in the first place.
It's not at all a "massive improvement" but it is an improvement regardless. Are gamers so starved for improvement in graphics now that said improvements are slower to come (last Gen to this Gen is proof of this) that they'll latch onto anything and call it a "vast inprovement". The amount of sour PS fanboys in these comments that think their "fact" is anything but an opinion is proof that they're not mature enough to have an actual conversation about this. What a cesspool that place has become. Yikes.
The improvement is nice, but it is a MINOR improvement. I could upgrade my PC instead of my PS5 and get better results while spending much less money. A lot of the PS5 Pro price tag is the memory, which is understandable. People deluding themselves that the graphics are THAT much better simply because they are an improvement are alarming at best.
I dont really understand the "corporate" critique. Moreso that I don't really understand what you mean by it, but I'm not sure, based on the rest of the review, that I really agree.
Most things about Future Perfect are far better than 2, although I played 2 more and have far more fond memories of it. I just played them both last night and the difference is pretty big, but not in the way you're describing to me. Everything either seems the same or better than 2 from what I see, and this is coming from a big fan of 2.
