This stuff just makes me sad. We have put the emphasis on the wrong technicalities these last few generations.
I don't care about frame rates, particles, shadows, image quality or whatever. None of this stuff makes the core game or gameplay any better.

I'm more impressed seeing the various physics systems in GTA IV on PS3. Something we've left behind and something even PS2 games do better than PS5

Yeah can't wait.
First wanna start with P5 though, since I heard that's better for beginners.

Modern games overstay their welcome HARD.
Gamers also put too much emphasis on the wrong things: graphics, gameplay hours, ray tracing, framerates.

All of them shallow and don't make a game good. I'm more impressed playing GTA IV in 30fps on PS3 than I am with modern games.

SKATE 2/3 is gonna be more impressive than SKATE 4 for exactly those reasons. Back when games added value to the experience, the physics, the writing, feel, realism

Yeah loved Bloodborne, but needed a guide with Dark/ Demons Souls. Couldn't finish Sekiro. Still love these games and would love to try this one if it doesn't require a guide to help you out if you're stuck too often

Budokai games are incredible, lighting fast and circular 3D like the Tekken games.

The Tenkaichi games are like this one. Not my cup of tea either and I won't be getting this one unless it's dirt cheap. And I'm a huge DBZ fan.

I think this is more of a thing of AAA games sucking so hard nowadays with all their terrible writing, characters, pandering, virtue signalling and toxic positivity BS. People are tired and want something fun. This game delivers and all the power to them.

What an era! My favourite by far.
GTA IV, Uncharted games, GOW3, Killzone 2, MW1/2, BFBC2, TLOU, RDR, etc.

The era where everything had grit. The writing, the visuals, the physics, the gameplay. Everything had weight and they weren't afraid to offend.

Modern gaming is like that SpongeBob episode where he lost his personality and shape

I feel the same for foorball games. I love the sport, but FIFA games are just sooo unbearably bad.
Rocket League is the proper translation to gaming and you actually play as one person inside a team.

Boxing/ fight sports have games like Sifu, Furi, or Tekken or something for me. The sport itself doesn't translate well, you're right

So Dying Light 2 (when I got it dirt cheap post patches) has been one of my favourite PS5 games which is a surprise.

You can have whatever taste in hell you want, but denying some of the best quality of games in the industry consistently is a bit baffling.

But it's always the same though with things that are regarded as the best. You'll always get people who just want to go against the grain for the sake of it.

I'm a big fan and I completely understand. These games always have the gimmick of quantities. You can play everyone, every power up, every series, etc.
None of it is truly of the highest quality, ever. We've been getting the same DBZ games for decades now.

I'll buy a DBZ game on the day they make a true action adventure game with the quality of an Arkham game. I'm sorry, but I've just played them all already

If that were the case, this procedure wouldn't have been so successful, judging by Insomniac's lack of physics in their games

And if it were Ubisoft, the patient would've been let go in the middle of the procedure and told to come back after a few months to patch up a lil bit (not fully. Just a lil bit)
