For anyone who's on the fence about if they like the core Death Stranding gameplay loop if you're going to try this again setting up infrastructure is what it's all about.
I was going to dump the first game half way through until I realised I could set up zip lines all over the mountains and it suddenly became a lot more fun.
@BlackGecko14 Exact same problem for me, luckily my wife never noticed that I'm playing a game where I'm cos playing a teenage girl as a late thirty something dad.I just genuinely like this kind of game it's nothing weird honest. Maybe I could say it's research for when my daughters are older.
Unpopular opinion, I kind of like DLC characters being released at regular intervals after the main game. Gives me something to look forward to.
I don't really mind paying 20 quid for a year either. That's just pocket money and I barely notice it. Cost of a full brand new game on the other hand is another matter.
@ShogunRok was there any hint if we'd be getting those goofy ending cutscenes back for every character if you beat arcade mode with them. It's a little thing but I really missed that on Tekken 7. Made it quite hard to get into the new characters from 7 all of them were pretty forgettable. I say that even though Josie was one of my mains.

I'm disappointed it's Eddy as he's not for me, but also glad as I can leave the DLC until at least Summer now.
