More wishy-washy flip flopping ***** as Sony struggle to come up with something to make up for the terrible decisions of the recent past. Only this time its going to be championed instead.
What happens when your eagerly awaiting fanbase is already foaming at the mouth for information and the reveal is completely underwhelming instead? Specifically refering to the (not leaked what so ever) initial showing of HighGuard. History has shown that the final game of the Game Awards is nearly always a big game from a known studio, its deliberately built that idea for engagement and viewer retention through the whole show. Due to whatever upset or reason HighGuard got that slot and it was sent out to die. Had it been leaked would the venom directed at it been lessened? Would it have been given the benefit of the doubt more?
By saving your games announcement only for these big shows, state of plays etc it builds completely unattainable preconceptions. Had this Faye game continued to go under the radar and had its grand unveiling as the last title at the game awards and it flopped on its arse just like it has here in most of the comments would that have done more or less damage than the leak thats just happened?

"I buy my console for the exclusives" the commentor stated as they proceeded to not buy the exclusive game.
