Is Sony stupid? Did they not just forget that a few months ago PC gamers were raging over creating a FREE PSN account....
And now they want to give them a game that celebrates PlayStations rich history and it's hardware. The same hardware they hate, refuse to buy, and want to see gone? ...Good lord.
Not to mention, the game was designed with the DualSense. Imagine spending months/years focusing on amazing DualSense implementation...just for someone to play the game with an Xbox controller or a mouse/keyboard. What a joke.
If this goes to PC then Sony really doesn't care about PlayStation at all anymore, they just see it as nothing but a cash cow. OG Sony respected and appreciated gaming as an art and care about the long term viability of PlayStation. Modern Sony only cares about the next quarter looking good and getting a huge bonus before they leave, even if it means PlayStation's future is ruined.
No Jim you idiot, what's "perverse" is you tarnishing the legacy of PlayStation by wasting precious resources on mobile gaming (and PC). This guy needs to be fired immediately, he has been nothing but disrespectful to everything PlayStation stands for.

As a long time pc gamer and 3090 owner it would be better if they both left the PC space completely and stuck with the traditional model. Stop trying to force this “eco system” and cloud BS. It has never worked and never will. Look at Ps4 last gen, massive success, look at Nintendo now, massive success, and last time Xbox was a massive success was the 360 era before all this PC and cloud nonsense. Clearly the traditional model is the best, why are these idiots trying to reinvent the wheel? Phil you will never reach this imaginary 1 billion gamers. A curated experience solely for Xbox console owners will always be better for a half assed and bland experience for “everyone”.
