Any tips by any chance? I've done about 6 solo runs and have yet to survive once. I seem to keep finding enemies all camped on exfill sites which is driving me mad. Not sure which are definitely bots or players but I think they're bots.
I know it's hard and I'm not a hard-core gamer but I can't survive a match on beginner.
Loved the fact the person commenting right after me came straight in with numbers of people playing the game 😂😂
Next time I purchase a game I'll be sure to research plenty of facts and figures about how many are playing first. I may like it, but if the numbers are wrong then I must be wrong and not play it myself 🙃
So many genres have these people who are supposedly big fans of the products yet they're more interested in researching sales figures and play time and arguing what's good or not than they are in actually enjoying the thing itself.
Something about this game really drew me in so I decided to pick it up despite not playing these types of games before and being quite a beginner these days (old school gamer, but my lack of play time at this age means I often struggle with online matches where people are well practised.)
Sure enough I got my ass handed to me on my first solo run and lost a lot but I still need to learn more about this game. I can see there's so much there if I put some time and effort in. I read a guide about solo runs so am going to try the Rook today to scavenge some loot hopefully.
The game looks and feels great, it's just a little overwhelming for someone that's a casual gamer I feel, but I know there's promise if I come past that.
It amuses me so much how many people are determined to hate. I agree about this being what it's like online now and how much noise these types of people make.
What always gets me is those that come in spouting numbers and researching them etc. I don't care about numbers, I care if I like a game or not. Sales figures and popularity and other opinions mean nothing to my enjoyment or opinion.
Obviously there's a risk the game goes belly up if the numbers are deemed too low by those up top, but other than that I don't see why people go to such extreme effort to research things they don't like and then gloat about it when it does nothing but waste their own time. Let people enjoy what they want and try doing that yourself...it will benefit you more than you realise.
@RagnarLothbrok yeah you're right, I've decided I'm going to wait. At the end of the day it will only gradually come down in price rather than go up and it's not like I've not got plenty to be playing on for a good while. Trailers so easily suck you in!
Unsure at the mo. Normally I hardly ever buy a game on day 1 unless it's something me or my son play heavily every time around. This year however I have picked up a few games.
On the one hand, I'm kinda thinking I should have waited to get Borderlands 4 rather than grab that on day 1 and that is making me think buying on day 1 is pointless again when games often have bugs and things which need patching anyway...
On the other hand, the game looks so stunning that it keeps pulling at me.
What makes me laugh and what I don't miss is how on Facebook whenever the announcements go up about which games are coming, it's always filled with laughing emojis. They could put 3 brand new top tier releases on and there would still be the same laughing emojis and ridiculous comments.
Having said that, this does seem a weaker month in terms of the age of the games and how long they've already been available on game pass (well, 2 of them at least) so personally I'm a bit like meh for this month.
I've put a lot of time into the game because it's a lot of fun (although can be incredibly frustrating at times) not sure how to feel about this now as I've never heard of that happening before.
I have been driven mad by how often the challenges glitch though. It's a daily basis that daily and weekly challenges fail to register. Sometimes rebooting the game fixes it but sometimes it doesn't.
Other than that I find there's bits like being unable to launch your grenade or similar because it just fails to register you hammering the button repeatedly, that's cost me a lot of kills.
I have both and don't care for console wars or any of that nonsense. All can be great. But the facts are PS Plus is light years behind on quality and ridiculously priced for what they're offering.
I've cancelled again until there's more reason to be interested.
Right as everyone is trying to push you to go all digital where everything costs more and they can just wipe a game from existence whenever they choose...this starts doing the rounds.
What an incredibly convenient coincidence 🤔 😂
@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I hope they do. I think I'll probably take the punt for the sake of a fiver and it being the deluxe edition too. I'd like to think it would have a long life one way or the other but at that price it's probably not much to lose.
I was going to ask the same. So once they shut it down the game is dead? Surely you can't sell a game cheap now but it becomes useless when the season ends?
I'm debating paying £5 for it but don't know how it works. Can I still get the characters that have been added to the game since launch and what happens when the next season ends. It may be super cheap but surely they can't sell something they know will no longer work in a very short space of time??

Re: EA Sports FC 26 Is Finally Trying to Give Everyone What They Want
Every year they promise everything and every year it's the same issues.
Ultimate team killed the game for career mode fans. The scripting is ridiculous. I don't get excited for it anymore.
I wish EA had more opposition, maybe they'd try harder.

In comparison to Game Pass, it's awful.

Sure...it's all on the level for this to be being talked about right now 😂

Re: Marvel Rivals' First Proper PS5 Season Starts 10th January
Was there much in the primer?
Was interesting to see the first proper season is starting in days but when you've missed out on bits already it's a bit annoying.
I've yet to try the game but think I'll be into it. I hate to come late and miss skins mostly though.
Re: Suicide Squad Season 4 Will Be Its Last, Offline Mode Coming Tomorrow
Sweet was planning to pick it up cheap tomorrow anyway but this is even better news.

Re: The Latest PS5 Firmware Update Is Available Now, Tweaks Activity Cards
Just been on and have now seen the new hub. Personally think it looks gorgeous and much more attractive than the old style.
I tend to barely play PS as I have a much bigger catalogue on Xbox but the new look actually got me interested in playing more.
Re: Double Dragon Revive Is a PS5, PS4 Brawler Bursting with PS2 Energy
Ah childhood memories with this series!
I'm intrigued.
Re: Huge List of 18 Major Games to Leave PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Month
I think it's time to consider cancelling for me. We lose big games and gain small titles. It's not paying its way at all.
