Glad I didn't preorder.. I wanted this to be good but had my doubts. Sounds like even the story is nothing to write home about. Probably won't even bother picking this up at a bargain bin.

@Intr1n5ic that's a good point, I'd forgot about that. I'm sure it'll be great, but still not quite the highs of a last of us or a horizon game that the masses are clamouring for.

@IslandLogic I would play the ***** out of that. As long as it was 3rd person.

@get2sammyb I think the main problem people have with this game is that this is the only PS exclusive Sony has to show for right now with nothing on the horizon so it does sting for the majority of people who care little about multiplayer games. If this had come out between a God of War and a Spiderman in the same year, no one would bat an eye. The future of PS feels very uncertain right now and that is troubling.

From what I can gather in the youtube comments the devs has over simplified the game introducing dual roles and stat progression upgrades over raw skill in a bid to appeal to mass market which will diminish the competitive aspect of the sport.

Regardless, I'll still check it out. But this is not a gameplay video sadly just a trailer. The fact that they still haven't released a full gameplay video is worrying..

Still a bit tentative about this game. In classic ubisoft, the world looks amazing and fun to explore but I still can't get over the ugly looking characters and stiff/janky animations....
