@get2sammyb It is the greatest flop as even Atari's E.T. wasn't this bad!

But hey, at least the physical games aren't being buried huh hahaha

I have no faith that this will be anything remotely as good as the original ME trilogy.

@AndyKazama Precisely! With the visuals provided so far, along with the premise of the game it comes across as another generic looter shooter.

Bring back the original Marathon and then we will talk...

I'm just very grateful that we're finally seeing more PS1 retro-style games now!

8 & 16 bit games have been oversaturating the market for over 10 years and majority of them are boring and unoriginal.

Bring on the PS1 & PS2 influenced games!!!

@BIG3 That's my biggest concern as well and the main reason why I'm not buying it until it goes on sale. Unfortunately in my experience Team 17s track record for their online gaming has been pretty poor. They don't maintain the games very well and there are usually a lot of bugs.

You are very welcome and it's funny because the past decade there were always rumors of a Remake/Remaster and nothing coming to fruition. Then I heard a year or so ago there was a kickstarter for it which didn't meet the goal which was disappointing but understandable as it has a very small following.

Then a week ago I decided to look into it again and lo and behold, I found a channel on youtube where the people working on it have videos and such! The remaster is called Hogs of War Lardcore!

From what I read and watched the remaster will have the original voices and audio!!! I was worried they wouldn't have it and that is a huge factor for the overall Hogs of War experience.

Just like the general in the PS1 video game intro, I got a little carried away with this reply haha! Hope this helps

@Mostik Well I have great news for you! There is a team working on the remaster as we speak, should be out next year!

The original game is far from easy but it's rewarding when you master it and damn you're a beast when you played against your friends haha!

They should have reviewers who have played the original games, just saying!

If only they added Factions to the damn game!

Have been looking forward to this game but don't know if the $25 price tag is worth it especially since there is no cross-play which is very unfortunate.

I wish Worms Rumble still had an active fan base but alas it doesnt...

Things haven't been the same since Tekken 6...

@Yagami Yeah that's what I'm concerned about as well. The graphical upgrade isn't much to look at either. Mixed feelings so far...

Definitely looking forward to playing these classics with upgraded visuals and mechanics!

I'm playing all sorts of games right now, half are solo and the other half is with my cousin so it's a blast!

Finally got around to playing Aliens: Fireteam Elite as well as Evil Dead and damn it's a lot of fun, as well as the occasional Fall Guys because we all need something light and fun every once in a while.

And of course because it's Halloween Season Little Nightmares 1 & 2 as well as the Plucky Squire in between the other sessions.

Lots of games, finally my PS5 is being heavily used haha

@FinneasGH I can believe that higher ups are spending outlandish amounts of money on garbage IPs, wouldn't be the first time. Also they will mention inflation, per usual.

"The future of Playstation" is so damn accurate because the company for gamers is getting worse and worse.

There might not be a future for Sony in gaming and if they continue this trend then so be it... 5 Generations is enough.

From what they've shown it looks like the only thing Marathon about this game is the name itself. Marathon was a fun game back in the days, they need to make another go at it as opposed to a live service game. They're a dime a dozen... onto the next one guys!

@Bramble With graphics like this might as well just buy the PS3 version, which I might do thanks to this review haha!

@TheKramer89 I haven't heard or read of any issues of it running on PS5 but then again I haven't looked into it for a long while.

I'm sure it plays and runs well.

I might just grab KCD Royal Edition, that's a good price for a game that I've been meaning to play for awhile.

Looking forward to playing a linear shorter game, we definitely need more of these especially with great art style!

Sony deserves to be crapped on for this and the memes will only continue, I'm all for it!

For most gamers the ps5 pro isn't worth the cost, especially if they already own a ps5.

I own a ps5 and will not be purchasing the console.

Sony needs to completely max out the capabilities of the ps5 just like they did for ps2 and ps3 before asking for $700.
