@funkyplasma Dont think so. I've had drift on every game for the most part. Then I played control and it worked fine for my whole play through till the end when it came back so I think it's just a hardware issue cause if you push the right stick down really hard it fixes it for 5min then comes back.
They used the same sticks as on PS4 so we can expect the same issues we had there. They'll probably release a MK2 version with different sticks in a few months.
@Daveuppercut Fair enough. Had to wait an hour for them to pick up and when they did it was a quick time process. Issue is that the guy said of get an Email with instructions but it never came through.
For anyone having this issue call playstation support. I told them the issue, sent it off for repair and its come back good as new. U should be covered with the 1year warranty.
@LiliumCobra @710King @scarecrowknife In summary: They've taken away private parties, screwed up the invite system, PSN is down for a lot of people and now they're monitoring our conversations without even giving us the option to opt out. Disastrous update.
@LiliumCobra I don't know about you but this doesn't sit right with me at all. I knew that you could record audio already but you could just hop on party settings and turn it off but like you said now that they've gone out of their way to moderate you themselves it looks like thats out the window.
I'd rather not have what I'm saying monitored on my own console in my own house with no way of saying no, and this is likely gonna be standard for PS5 now aswell.
@710King Theres literally an option allowing you to. As it does it it will bring up the notification saying: "Voice Chats may be recorded for moderation. By joining, you agree to be recorded"
@scarecrowknife @710King Go for it let me know how it goes. Im really trying to think of a practical reason why they would add this feature. There was already a way to record your voice over gameplay and if you're on a games console thats the only time you should need or want to hear your own voice.
Im just annoyed that they're allowing people to record your party audio now. Watch what you say people cause if you upset someone in a party your chances of getting banned just went up. Also if you wanna talk about anything really private I suggest you use your phone or something that isn't in the Playstation eco system cause something tells me your non game related actions could effect your account if they're now actively listening to you and allowing recordings to be taken.

Re: Poll: Have You Been Experiencing Drift on Your DualSense PS5 Controller?
@Daveuppercut True, still that week without a controller was way better than the £60 I would've had to pay for it lol
How long did it take u to get the email with the details out of curiosity?

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Runs at 60 Frames-Per-Second on PS5, But There's No Quality Mode
Isn't it getting a Next gen version later...?
I'd assume that's where these options would come in
