Fromsoft is really smart. there is so much reused materials that this game probably did not cost much to develop. No risk even if it fails. I will pass on this one and wait for the DS3 remaster

Waiting for a sale. I played the beta and i was not amazed by "gorgeous visuals". Almost looks last gen at 60 fps. And animations are not great...

Dont really share the impression of the review. I am really curious to see which rating you will give to New World. I alteady have 50h in TaL
And first this game is an amazing technical accomplishment. The environment is beautiful with many players on screen and high draw distances keeping 60fps (not when there are 50 players on screen of course). Most beautiful mmo on console by far. I did not like the combat at first but it quickly becomes interesting when you can combine many different skills with their own animations and creates your own combos. And the music and sound is also over the top. ok story is bad but do the job in this type of game imo

You forger this IP might cost a lot to Ubi. Disney taking also a big part of the profit on Outlaws. Which is not the case for the Division or Far cry

Did the tech expert see the updated list of 8 games optimized for ps5 pro? The only new one game of this list is delayed to 2025...lol

This is the primary reason. Just look at the price of the ps5 pro in Japan and Europe, exactly where ps5 is much stronger than xbox

Not surprising at all. Many similarities with Concord. This is not a problem of saturation. Nothing just stands out in both games. Not one single original approach on maps, gunplay, modes, etc...and not a single feature better than the years-long established competition. If xdefiant would have launch at 40$, i think it would give same playercounts than Concord...

We still dont know if somebody at bungie gave some feedback to Firework on Concord...

Everybody is talking about concord. But valorant beta is alteady polished and very enjoyable. I have no doubt the playerbase is alteady strong on console even during the closed beta

This is an interesting take imo. But this works only if the new game has an original proposition or vision to get players to play their new game instead of their current live service game. This is the reason why a game like The Finals can survive imo but not games like Concord, Suicide Squad, xdefiant, etc...

I am sad for the devs behind the game. But there is no excuse to find like ps plus account or bad buzz. This game is unfortunately very shallow at all levels. You can feel there is no direction. Everything is generic. Even gunplay is disapointing...

@AdamNovice I know and i get it. I am still finding sad that Sony ask Bungie to test the MP mode of TLOU and Bungie did not find it good enough. And what can we say about concord...

I played for an hour and I'm still in shock that sony canceled Last of Us multiplayer game and not this one...

Demo was great to show me that performances are even worse than i imagined. Will wait for the remaster or the pro version i guess. the gameplay looks great unfortunately...

My take from these preview is that we can expect aimbot-level aim-assist to accomodate pc player matchmaking. which will ruins gunfight feeling on ps5 imo.... At least Valorant console part made the good choice on that part

optimistic review. there is a thin line between arcade/old-school. and outdated. Fun evaporates quickly unfortunately. Not to mention this awful aim-assist to balance the game with pc players. I almost dont need to use the right stick when ADS...

Desert Strike remaster when?

It would be day one for me if the ps5 pro is sold with the Red Dead Redemption 2 next-gen upgrade with 60 fps, Ray tracing and AI-boosted resolution. If not i pass

i will buy DD2 when the price of the game will equal the number of fps in combat

Lets also not forget that "uncapped framerate" for capcom is 20 fps in combat and 60 fps in the menu...

I wish Sony, Ubisoft and SquareEnix invest more in good level writing like Rockstar and CDproject. These open-world game are just all boring these days with such bad story and dialogues. Dragon dogma looks the same unfortunately...

@B0udoir oh yes Cryo's Dune. Had a blast with it on my megaCD back in the days. I agree it looks generic but it will be tough to resist a Dune MMORPG
