One big reason I got physical games was that I wanted to be guaranteed I could play the game in the far flung future after the point Sony (or whoever) had turned off their servers for the platform.
I always keep my systems and games for this reason.
Unfortunately with how games are now designed (online components) and released (with big 1st day patches) this now isn't as viable.
