I really enjoyed RE5 at the time, I remember it was the first after RE4 that allowed walking AND shooting at the same time, was quite action heavy and great fun.
Shiva's AI was pretty poor though so that could well do with the upgrade too.

This is actually pretty cool, they could have given a basic key on a disc, which then would allow you to download the game and play, but only if the game is in the drive.
However by shipping on 2 discs, it proves you are receiving the complete game on disc, and probably a very highly patched version too rather then just v1.0.

Larian are now even cooler in my cool book.

One of the best bits of the Control second DLC was it let you replay the Ashtray Maze level repeatedly if you liked.

Always thought that was a great idea and think this would be great if you could create your favourite game 'bookmarks' (or 'gamemarks' if you like).

How does it replicate the touchpad?

I want to if you login to you ps+ account into it, or you just remote onto whichever PS5 is on your network.

IF you login to your account first then there's no reason you couldn't use the PS+ streaming on it instead of remoting to your PS5 first.

SONY will really be missing a trick not to align this product with the new streaming service, it just seems perfect for each other.

Its not really a 'slim', more of a 'shorty'.

Its a nice thing, but you can just plug a dualsense into an android phone via USB (and now new Iphones I guess) and run up the remote play app for the same experience.

As mentioned earlier there are a few 3rd party remote play apps out there but personally I've not had any trouble with the official (free) one.

I was going to put down pretty much the same comment.

The thing nowadays is that day 1 patches are so big and important now, it's almost like the physical disk is now just a 'key' that lets you use the installed software.
The actual code on the disc (especially after multiple patching or even almost game rewrites ala Cyberpunk) becomes old and irrelevant compared to the latest version.

So yes you own the 'key' to playing the game and a box to keep it in. For digital that key is electronic and you have no box (and no resale of said 'key' of course).

Of course it will, there's still a HUGE PS4 userbase out there which means even more $$$$$$$$.

GTA6 will still sell millions even if there's PS3 version, they don't care about new gen anymore or we would have seen PS5 exclusive DLC for GTA5, or at least decent ports of the GTA trilogy, RDR or even a 60fps RDR2 patch.

No it's all about the multiplayer and getting the player numbers high to get that large revenue stream from the start.

I would think it's fairer to say with the massive hardware sales of the PS5 and the barebones mediocrity of the Xbox first party line up, that we should probably consider Xbox games part of the PlayStation community instead.

For example, it'd be a fascinating statistic to know how many PS5 owners bought an Xbox S/X to play Starfield, and then how many Xbox owners bought a PS5 to play Spider-man 2 (assuming they already didn't have both).

I bet it was the latter and by this statement I think Phil probably knows it too, hence the misguided belief that new Playstation users who already have Xbox's are now still part of the community.

This is one of the things that PlayStation as a brand has maintained and Xbox has lost, memorable characters.

You ask me for Xbox mascots and I can only think of Master Chief and Marcus Fenix (who hasn't been in a game for a little while now).

Might get the main 3 seperately when on cheap, but this collection sounds like a massive missed opportunity and a big let-down (especially compared to something like the Atari 50 collection or the Karateka story).

Have to agree with people here, I do enjoy your writing almost all the time, but this title is clickbaity and the actual article isn't really relevant anyway.
HK is credited in the games he was involved in, not the porting process, extras etc involved in this package. So what?
