@Sanquine It's been said since the dawn of time: downloads do not equal lost sales. Period. There's no way to determine how many people who downloaded a game would have bought it if they couldn't pirate it. You can't lose what you didn't have in the first place. They lose far more in sales by alienating customers who would actually buy the product but object to invasive DRM that harms performance (look at Capcoms recent snafu with RE4 swapping Denuvo for an even worse DRM of their own). But really, what can one expect from a company infamous for secretly putting rootkits on music cds? Incidentally, I wonder how many commenting here were even alive at that time.
