Don't forget if prefer to collect yourself rather than risk your local delivery driver. Currys do a price match vs online competitors. Got my pro a few weeks back for £660 matching EE store. So they should match that Game Collections great price.
Why do so many people consider these companies to be charities? They are here to make a profit, and yes everything has gone up (except wages), so why not expect our hobbies to as well. We saw it with the PS4/PS5 paid upgrades everyone wanted them for free. Some companies did offer them free but it takes time and work to do them if they do them properly. We are happy to buy dozens of versions of Last of Us part 1, full price minor remakes of games that can still be played on current systems (£60 and all it has is trophies wooo!) , and lets not forget the yearly sports titles with just a different number on the box. People are just going to have to prioritize their backlog and keep it to 1 or 2 at most. This will mainly have issues for those that blindly buy every single release for the "backlog shelf" and reviewers that have to pay for copies. I do not like it either, but our only power, is when and where we open our wallets. And sadly Nintendo very very rarely do sales of any sort. Once the companies see we are becoming more street smart then they might need to swing back to maintain their profits (which at the end of the day is all they are interested in).
As long as they are still catering to the PS4 (Understandable simply due to its player install base) the PS5 is being held back and not hitting its peak abilities and so neither will the pro. Outside of the few actual PS5 exclusives. Makes this price (plus extra for disc drive/stand) a major sticker shock. Skipping this unless my PS5 breaks long before PS6.
