@Scollurio it's not meant to be a pleasent game to play, it's meant to piss you off and put you into positions you don't like. Not all gaming is Mario running around jumping on turtles. If you don't like this kind of narrative then I suggest you stop playing this type of game. From the first moment of LOU 1 you realise this game won't be pleasent, there is no pleasent in a world like this so what were you expecting exactly. Joel and Ellie walking off into a sunset with a beautiful orchestra playing or some other cliche way of storytelling..........

This game took you out your comfort zone. Makes you do things you don't like.........
This story went from love to hate, there's a reason it took the path it did. None of us are free of consequence, Joel had it coming he made bad decisions just like everyone in this mad world does. It caught up to him the hate and vengeance of his choices. Ellie changes that by not going down the path of revenge.
I'm stunned people can't see the true message in this game.

The whole point for everything, every little choice came down to that last moment, that was the whole point 🤦♂️🤦♂️
How someone can rise above vengeance and stop the repeating pattern of going down the same route of hate!
If she'd of got the revenge you wanted so bad it would have been the worst decision as it would have showed nobody can learn anything in this world.
