Re: Round Up: Crimson Desert Reviews Are a Major Disappointment

BinaryMessiah

When the hell is an 82 disappointing? Games have to be 9s nowadays for anyone to care? I was skeptical about this game too but picked it up which I normally DON'T do. It's got amazing combat and visuals and not every game has to have a stellar story. Who played Breath of the Wild for the damn story? Who played Stellar Blade for the story? I almost don't remember anything about it. I don't remember most of it. I'm playing Tainted Grail as well and that game has awful combat but great lore and story. That also didn't get sweeping good reviews.

I watched smaller YouTube channels for reviews on this. Most critic reviews are nearly useless this days. A game will get sweeping good reviews and everyone will hate it. Critics will bomb a game and then everyone will just love it out of spite sometimes. Don't even mention Steam reviews. Those are unreliable for most larger budget games. They get review bombed by the most sensitive gamers in the community. Pick any reason.

Re: PS5 Shipments Reach 25 Million, But Still Well Short of Yearly Target

I found my first PS5 in the wild this week. I live in a metro area so there’s high demand here. I didn’t find it where I live. I’m visiting my mother in another state in a small rural town and I went to the local Target and saw 6. 6! Just sitting in a case. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve found none online since launch and none in person. I’ve seen Series X/S but not PS5s.

I bought 2. Horizon Forbidden West, a controller, and a charger. I’ll probably never see one again.

Re: Sniper Elite V2 Remastered - Serviceable Sniper Action Stuck in the Past

BinaryMessiah

I agree with this review. V2 was incredibly boring and outdated even when the game came out. I gave it a 6 on my own review site back in the day. Sniper Elite, in general, is just really boring and there are better stealth action games out there. Even Splinter Cell lives up to the times and it's almost 15 years old. I don't know why they chose to remaster V2 since they didn't fix any of the problems and just upped the visuals a little bit.
