So I found the answer at last. Native means it runs on the ps5 and not through a PS4 emulator. The PS4 version is the one you want. It runs at 4k 60 FPS with support for all the usual ps5 features such as adaptive triggers.
There is no "ps5" version. The image of the Wildlands ps5 box art below is deceptive
They really should have made this a lot clearer.
You want the PS4 version with the recent update applied.
Just checked the UK store. No ps5 version anywhere. Inserting the PS4 disc just downloads a PS4 version same as before. Ubisoft+ only has the PS4 version
