Re: $100 for GTA 6 Is 'A Bridge Too Far' Even for Rockstar, Says Analyst

When you adjust for inflation games are cheaper now than they were back in the 80s & 90s yet games are a lot more expensive to make. If the latest fifa/fc game (virtually same game every year) costs $70 at launch it seems kind of reasonable in comparison that a game that has been in development for 10 years costs more. The problem is that other developers will follow suit for their yearly slop games and that the extra money probably goes to the shareholders rather that the actual developers who worked hard on the game.

@ChimpMasta
I would consider a person who has not even played the game and gives the game a 0/10 because of "woke" to be disingenuous. Even if those concerns are legitimate to the individual its not an honest way to give a 0 unless the game is really truly unplayable and awful. It would be like me giving a GTA or RDR game a 0/10 because I don't agree with stealing and murdering without even playing the game. It says more about me than it does the game itself.

Problems with performance are undoubtedly genuine concerns.

I caved and ordered one from Very.co.uk @£560.00 (with 20% off first order discount) over 3 interest free payments. Still too expensive in my opinion but the discount and spreading the cost makes it a little more palatable.
